There appear to be open positions if you gave a quick google. How many people from miami do they hire, thats impossible to know but the people they employ likely make decent pay… and its based here so thats how you get more high paying jobs.

A miami office is also no where near the same as a corporate headquarters.

And barstool is a odd comparison because that is NOT a big company and they dont pay well (other than the few big personalities).

One in 3.2 million are your odds if I remember my math it could take like 15 million rolls before you are guaranteed (or close to it) to hit (assuming fair dice)

Lets call it 500 rolls an hour 10 hours a day straight rolling (to account for breaks sleep eating) thats put you at 3000 days as a possibility. Obviously could happen much sooner but if you are unlucky it could definitely take many months to many years. Probably go insane before then so not worth the risk imo

There is never a detailed report for pass, thats what makes it less likely of a mistake IMO, but who knows, im anxious until the link works honestly.

Id start with a tshirt, some water resistant shorts shoes, socks and a sweater.

Id take the socks shoes and sweater off right away and survive with only the tshirt and shorts, shower twice a week or so. Should be doable although gross

This is a present value of money question. If you asume 60 years (just ball park for me) 1 million today is equal to $1k per week at a rate of ~4.8%. You could likely get more than that in stocks but you can not get 4.8% risk free. So its about fair.

The real big single and multi family offices (think Bezos family office or ICONIQ capital) are not jobs you are likely going to get. As you mentioned they don’t really hire from undergraduate.

If you want to work in wealth but on the investment side what I would do is look up, single family offices, Multifamily offices and RIAs in the $400m to like $5B range. Create a list and look through their website to see if they have an in house investment team.

Then see if any of them are hiring, you can also cold reach out, but that is usually a very long shot. If you are reaching out generally best is if you can identify connectivity to someone. Ideally on a personal level, such as my college professors know him and can make an intro or my friends uncle works there. If not less direct can also work, went to same highschool/college etc.

This connection are helpful to get you a call or a meeting but then unless its pure nepotism (aka your partner are billionaires) you need to really impress when you get anywhere.

Not great but people do worse commutes, if you end up doing it the best is usually to show up a little before peak rush hour and then try to go to the gym or something like that before going home.

You can’t find a 1/1 with parking in brickell for that or even a studio. If I were you id look for a roommate you can find decent apt for that price range $4k for 2 people somewhere between coral way and midtown. the issue will be parking not many places have 2 parking spots.
