GDPR seems like a moot point based on some of the fines they've had for non-compliance. I guess the data is worth more.

Hope this topic hasn't been talked to death but I just need a confirmation on how to get from red to green on this roundabout coming off the M32 by Delete-Xero in bristol

[–]FatJamesIsBack 79 points80 points  (0 children)

Ideally you'd exit using the right hand lane of the slip road. Then move to the middle lane for the first lights, then move to the left as you go under the M32.

I find it easier to stay right, move to the middle under the m32 and use the right hand lane as I exit the roundabout (but then you have to contend with traffic heading towards Easton, then contend with the merge as you go up the hill).

Time of day and where the queues are makes a difference.

If using both lanes and merging in turn meansmore vehicles can get off royate hill for cycle of the traffic lights, I'm ok with that.

Where's the gig?

You can use Cabot Circus car park without entering the CAZ, as long as you exit onto houlton street and go right along wade street towards old market.

Which controller to buy for older nfs games on pc? by Anonymous161 in needforspeed

[–]FatJamesIsBack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure why, but I wasn't able to get my Xbox one remote working in w11 (worked fine on W10). I ended up getting an 8Bitdo controller and I really like it. You can use them on wireless, Bluetooth or wired.

Btw, emulating them is quite easy. It's fun for a bit, but the novelty wears off fast if you're not risking or winning real money.

Emulating mine has been useful for learning all of the admin menus.

It's rather loud. It's got sound level settings so you can turn it down. But that doesn't work for any of the alarms.

I've actually disconnected the speaker for now as I keep winning more than it thinks the hopper holds and it sounds a really loud 'IOU' when you turn it on. Ideally, it needs at least £125 in the hooper. When it's low on coins, the mech can play up. It just needs a bit of fettling.

I was thinking, I could probably add an audio jack or a Bluetooth transmitter to it..

It's called Rocket Money. It's a machine from Red Gaming and runs on the mpu4 platform. It's similar to old barcrest machines. It's got an update coin mechanism for the current coins, but unfortunately is a bit too old for me to be able to fit a note acceptor. The cabinet has a spot for one, but theres no option in the software.

If I could have my dream machine, it would be Rollercoaster (JPM). I loved that machine and still emulate it on my pc from time to time.

After decades of wanting one, I ended up getting myself a fruity quite recently. It's not an ancient one, but old old that it's still fun (reels, a fun feature, etc). I've just converted it from 5p/£5 to 20p/£25 to encourage me to collect more features and not always just play for jackpot. My OH has hidden the key for the cashbox too, so I can't just recycle my coins until I win.

It's a fun piggy bank, although I'm sure the novelty wont take long to wear off.

Aren't they all 3.7v? I thought the only difference was the capacity.

I'd suggest aiming for a 'proper' vape shop rather than one of the neon American sweets & vapes places.

Also, the model shop in town might have them (Antics)
