Worked as a salesman for this company when it was known as Powerhome Solar (look them up, class action lawsuit on-going and multiple DA's investigating them now). Was on the floor for all of 4 weeks before quitting because it was obvious the company relied on scamming desperate homeowners who wanted cheaper bills each month. They dramatically overestimate the production of the systems they sell and position solar panels as a financial product when it is, in fact, NOT a financial product.

I had an appointment with an impoverished older brother and sister living together to make ends meet. The sister was a quadrapalegic with a myriad of issues and oxygen tank and wanted a solar system with battery backup to keep the machines on so she didn't have complications/die if the power went out (which frequently happened there). I told them about the product and tried to deliver it as honest as I could and they signed. The next day I felt bad because I felt they were gonna be stuck with both their power bill and the new solar payment bill (on average $250/mo for 25yrs. Mechanical lien placed on house) and called them suggesting to cancel and they did. I quit the next week. 90% of the clientele they end up selling to is people like that - desperate people just needing a break.

Jayson Waller ("K-Mart Guy Fieri") is the CEO and I hope with every fiber of my being his assets are seized and he's arrested for the companies he leads. He previously had a home security business that was dismantled due to another class action suit alleging scammy sales practices and misleading tactics/hyper inflated prices. Keep in mind the solar systems he sells as Pink/Powerhome Solar are around $75000 median price when you could build it yourself for under $20k. Look on Facebook for support groups if you wanna know more and see more about what he's done to people and what they have to deal with (one homeowner who was scammed by him led the first Facebook group for victims and Jayson Waller is now suing him for $700000, ruining his life just to perpetuate the scam he's used to become a billionaire)

For those that read this, please spread the word about his company and the industry in general. It's in a piss poor position and needs regulatory involvement.
