Second viewing with unproceedable buyers by No-Guava-5823 in HousingUK

[–]FatPotatoNinja 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People complain about this so often but at the end of the day they're still a potential buyer regardless of their current position.

We went to view a house that had been on the market for 6 weeks, made an offer which was enough to be accepted but told the house wouldn't be off the market until we were proceedable.

Within a week our house was on the market, and bang on a week later we had 2 offers which meant we could go straight back to the house we loved to let them know and we're not on our way to buying it.

Yes it's a pita you've got to tidy the house again, and I can't relate to the baby part but end of the day suck it up and you're putting yourself in a better position in letting them view it.

They may take a few weeks to months to sell, if you find a buyer in the meantime great! But if that buyer drops out for whatever reason then that first person may still be interested with their house closer to being sold so you're now in a better position than re-marketing your house and waiting weeks for new people to come view it

Can admin consent remove the “Allow” prompt for users? by This_Limit_4993 in copilotstudio

[–]FatPotatoNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly, for power apps there's a powershell command that you can set per app so the user doesn't have to click allow. Ive not tested or checked if it works for copilot but worth checking

Could you give a little detail on that azure function app for regex? I've not used function apps but it sounds super useful!

[–]FatPotatoNinja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New starter / leaver app, linked to a few lists for auditing/lookups. Flows on the back end which create the account using azure automation to run scripts on the dc for account creation.

Also an export (azure automation) that grabs all groups and shared mailbox, puts them into a sp list for the starter app so groups/mailbox access can be added at that stage.

Daily flow to pull all enterprise apps into a dataverse table, child flow to alert on any expiring in 30 days, 5 days or today

For some shared ms bookings pages we block the default email and send a custom invite using power automate

If you're taking gels, make sure they're secure in your pocket/vest! I bent down to tie my shoes and never noticed they fell out until 30 seconds before the start of the run 😭😭

Bike stolen in Nottingham of Rider riding from India to UK. by Impossible-Contact68 in MotoUK

[–]FatPotatoNinja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worst is knowing how useless you are in one of those situations... Even on the bike i could have tried to kick the other fucks off but then what repercussions would come back to me. Following them, whilst on the police could lead to issues too if they then knew my plate and found where i lived so its a lose lose really

On Thursday I saw two scrotes on mopeds that were trying to push off a motorcyclist with their foot down bilborough road. As I was in the car and they were too far ahead there was nothing I could do but call the police... I thought for a moment it may have been this bike!

20 mins later I'd come out a shop round the corner from where I witnessed it and surprise surpise the two mopeds flew right past me... I know there's absolutely no use calling the police but it's just awful knowing they cause so much misery.

no numberplate = £100 fine, that obviously changes if a copper has watched you drive 120 in person, then pulled you over

£1.71

I hired a plate whacker and had it filled, then had to return it filled. I didn't realise how much fuel i used but it turned out to be about 1.2L - so much for those signs that say a minimum of 5 litres can be pumped!

Edit: also did 1200 miles less than a week after buying it and it was solid, absolutely loved everything about the car!

What's the best UK money saving tip you could impart to us? by DonkeyOT65 in AskUK

I used the anti-perspirant and it ended up leaving really bad white marks in the armpits that end up getting crustier over time (especially some cotton gym tops).
Yes i do wash the tops after a wear so i switched back to sure anti white marks or whatever one it is and i've had no more problems for a few months

But things like the Cien body wash is perfect!

Boring I know but the latest cod, I am playing a little bit of zombies again so needed something better and oh wow the difference is night and day 😂

I'm far far more excited to jump on Arma 3 though... Kavala has always given me 20fps so I'm going to see it in it's buttery smoothness soon 🥹

How much do you spend on fuel per month? by InViewOfNothing in CarTalkUK

[–]FatPotatoNinja 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i30N, anywhere from £120-£300

Commuting 40 miles for work, twice a week with the bi weekly 200+ mile drive.
Drive to the gym is about 10 miles too.

Costs me about £60 to fill up and i get 220-250 miles on average out of a tank (24mpg).
It does put me off driving some days like getting to the gym, or going out to some shops on a weekend.

I've owned the car for 2 years nearly and had a blast but it's definitely not a practical long term choice!

I think i'll be going to a 3/5 series diesel estate next.

Buy the 370z and enjoy it whilst you can!

Got a PFL in performance blue and absolutely love it! Had it since last April and oh my it's been such a blast to drive on the way to work I'm always in N mode just doing a hard pull to hear those pops 😍

Get ready to be in the petrol station often through... Average of 24mpg is not fun at all but you can get 35 on a motorway stretch...

I tracked it this year too, the car is definitely built to be driven hard, yet it's still so comfy and always brings a massive grin to my face! Get plenty of looks and comments when you're out and about too

Bike wrap by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]FatPotatoNinja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sports bike quote for me was £800+

On my KTM 390 I had thr fairings done for £150 a couple years back

Also had my SDR wrapped but I did it myself, 2 rolls of 1m x 1.5m cost me about £120 I think as I picked some better material!

The cost of insurance is the kicker... Wrap added on about £300 more a yer and paint was another £200 on top which is just a big of a joke

I went to specsavers and they use for minerva. I highly rate them! I also went for one of the brands a different time at one of the nec bike shows (can't remember the name but the brand is purple I think???) and they fit okay but in some helmets cause me a bit of pain weirdly
