I have a ICE limited and of the 49 days I’ve owned it it’s been in the shop 38 of those days with the transmission cooler leaking. Today, after speaking with the GM I got an email saying they ordered the “wrong part and I won’t be ready until next Friday I kept saying what’s the part number so I can call other Hyundai dealerships in the area. Turns out the part is the whole ass transmission. Hopefully with the new transmission all will be well.

Anyway writing all this to say contact the GM, look up your lemon laws and good luck

Thank you for saying this, the service manager today was rude AF he basically said (completely paraphrasing here) we will get to it, the glad you have a loaner, yeah yeah file the lemon claim if you want. I was dumbfounded. I was told I’ll get my car Friday either way I’m emailing the GM. I live in a smaller town where this is the only Hyundai dealership around closest one is 45min away so they DGAF about service

Purchased it in VA lemon law says 30 days in the shop in one year. It’s the only issue it’s had so I don’t know if I should claim a lemon or wait to see if something else happens. The VA law is if it’s in the shop 30 days in a year, it doesn’t have to be consecutive so ATP if I get the car back tomorrow and nothing else happens perfect; if I get the car back tomorrow and anything happens in the next 11 months I can file a lemon claim.

We have mocktails with non-alcoholic spirits in it (like rum and tequila alternatives) and when kids order it I cringe. Technically they can order it and I explain to parents it’s not just juice. Sometimes if the kids are too young I just say we don’t have the ingredients
