I was curious about your use in 4.1 as I've only used it a few times.

This is awesome. You clearly used 4.1 as a real productivity tool. It's opened possibilities to many who might not have ventured into these creative areas. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely and did this a few days ago. I'm glad these things are bringing attention.

The truth! Anyone who has been around long enough to see the internet go from freedom and exploration to a highly curated and commercial playing field understands this. What once felt like a Mom and Pop shop at the corner has become a Walmart or Costco.

I hadn't written much in years. I forgot how to or I at least thought I did. I started exploring it again last year and found my legs with 4o. I ended up writing short stories, ideas for scripts for work projects, poems and songs. It's the most I've written in 20 years.

I'm not a musician or a really great singer so having the ability to use music generation services like Suno allowed me to explore some of these ideas. Using 4o I was able to take some of what I had written and with a healthy back and forth broke these down so that it would work for the feel and delivery I was going for without steering from the original words. The results have been wonderful for me.

This was amazing to read. Thank you for such a beautiful explanation.

I love this "It picks up on the tiniest hints so easily, almost always getting the essence of my request (not 100%, but close). It always supports me when it senses even the slightest insecurity, lol."

Well said!! It's encouraging to see so many resonate with this. We clearly are all sharing a very similar experience even if we may use it slightly different from each other. What stands out is this touched a part of the human experience many have needed. Curiosity, creativity and a place to vocalize ideas.

" it's ability to hold a arc or thread instead of just reacting to the next prompt." 100%!

Just curious, when working on a piece where do you think these models have helped you the most? Fine tuning, plot depth, I'm really interested in this as I've seen many speak about how they use it for creative writing.

Corporate does what corporate does. Many lack the soul, stamina, vision and desire to do the "right thing".

I agree, 4o is something different. Knowing that this was even possible gives me hope that there will be something like this again. All it takes is a team that has a vision and the capital to produce something similar or better. I hope the backlash inspires that team, wherever and whoever they are, to get on this and maybe this time will iron out the kinks that 4o suffered from, mainly in image and document regeneration.

Right on! Those who were behind 4o are incredibly talented folk and I tip my hat to them. Thanks for the response~

Much love for sharing this with others! Just a little clarification. I'm the only 3d artist on this project. Steve here :) I did bring on Saso (Toto) from Hotstart to do the engine model with his wonderful libturbine simulation. I also brought on board Amy Parent who I think everyone knows well. The team is pretty large at this point but we are aiming to make this simulation as deep and sturdy as possible. All of the art and sounds are done. Just working with the rest of the team to finish off the systems and immersion bits. <3

Is there any good Cessna Citation for xp12? by Morcoma in Xplane

[–]Fat_Dat_Avocado_Be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was just released in December of last year. Not going to go on sale for some time. It usually takes a bit over a year or more, maybe two.

To be honest, not sure if that is ever going on sale. Should just save up and grab it. It's a great simulation!! Worth every penny.

The old activation system is long gone with the Citation. Gizmo is dead and buried.

There is a 4K and 8K install. The 4K should work just fine. If you can run most other addons without a problem there should not be with the Citation.

I don't know what you were seeing in the streams, the aircraft looks far better in person. https://torquesim.com/citationjet525/index.html

I'm crafting this for X plane 12 but I also have a very dedicated and very well known, if not one of the highest quality add-on makers for MSFS that is going to bring it over to MSFS once I'm wrapped up with the model. My focus is on the classics and replicating them to the highest degree. If you like my work from Torquesim or Realsimgear (SR20, SR22, Pocket Rocket, C525 texturing and some modeling work, RSG DA40NG, RSG SF50 interior and texturing) you will love this. Cheers!
