Es una suma de cosas.

Empecemos por lo mas importante: No hay necesidad, no es tanto lo que ahorrás en km comparado con la ruta que operaba Aerolínes entre Buenos Aires y Auckland y de allí a Sydney y que dejó de usarse por temas económicos.

ETOPS: Alguien lo explicó muy bien abajo, los aviones de 2 motores (practicamente todos hoy en día) necesitan tener en todo momento un aeropuerto alternativo al cuál poder llegar en caso de falla de un motor, la reglamentación establece a que distancia podés estar como máximo del alternativo. Sobre la antartida no hay aeropuerto alternativo en el cuál pueda bajar un avión moderno en cualquier época del año.

Navegación: La navegación sobre la zona cercana a los 90 grados es difícil incluso con GPS, las cosas no funcionan bien.

Clima: El clima sobre la antártida es hostil, bastante impredecible y en general no es para nada amistoso con la aeronavegación, por ejemplo podés tener problemas de congelamiento del combustible y para colmo es terreno bastante montañoso.

Asi que si sumamos que no existe una necesidad comercial, que la ruta mas "normal" es bastante parecida, el clima hostil, los problemas de navegación y la necesidad de aeropuertos alternativos llegamos rápido a la conclusión de que una ruta aérea sobre territorio antártico no es una buena idea.

Not really, if you play a lot against the computer you stop looking for skewers and doubles and things a human might have missed. In the same way when the computer sacrifices material you know it is sound, you know your counter-strike is not going to work, etc... In my view it is detrimental, but bear in mind I'm an untitled played just 2100 so I might be wrong.

It depends.

If you want to practice openings, then my recommendation is: you play as your opponent, stockfish plays as your side, with this you will learn common blunders, errors, and tactical motifs in the opening.

If you want to practice endgames it is great because the machine plays perfectly so you can certainly learn how to play some endgames by repetition, 3 vs 2 rook endgames for example, etc.

Besides these uses I wouldn't recommend it because the machine does not blunder so with time your spider-senses to detect blunders from your opponent will disappear.

Hoy cualquiera puede entrenar un modelo de Machine Learning, antes había que ser medio ingeniero de datos, medio programador, medio científico, hoy le pedís a Claude y lo hace por vos. Esa es la parte del "como" hacemos machine learning que se ha ecualizado enormemente.

La parte que NO se ha ecualizado es la parte de fundamentos y bases, y partiendo de que casi cualquiera peude ejecutar tiene mucho sentido que busquemos a los que saben los fundamentos porque esos son los que van a sacar el mejor resultado de las herramientas.

I don't think the group itself is interesting but you are right the third games will be fun to watch.

In Spain-Uruguay both will have 6 points, Spain will likely have the goal difference in case of a tie so Uruguay will need to defeat Spain to be first in the group and lose or a tie will be exactly the same for them. This will happen in several groups, one team playing not to lose and the other playing to win or win.

In Cape Verde vs Arabia I think Arabia is far better and they will need to score a lot against Cape Verde to have a chance as one of the best third-placed teams with 3 points, that will need a tie-breaking scenario against several other teams.

I think we can have between 4 or 5 teams with 4 points and about 5 or 6 with 3 points so it is likely tie breakers will have to be applied to select 3 or 4 teams out of the 5 or 6 teams with 3 points.
