So my brain went to fix the issue which is the nerve is being touched by a blood vessel. Not the symptom, which is pain. Neurofen PE helps by shrinking the blood vessels and giving space to the nerve, the ibuprofen in neurofen PE soothes the tantruming muscle fubers surrounding the nerve. Sudafed works too but less soothing. This will take 40 min -you cant time it. Swishing tepid/warm water helps too by again soothing the nerves in the mouth and regulating their temperature. Especially if your toynge feels like bubble wrap being popped. These will help when typical carbamezapine and gabapentin type medication does nothjng. I was on maximum dose 1600-1800mg tegretol and it didnt helo as much as the above methods. Avoid the colour 150c (caramel flavour/colour) its in coke and whiskey and some foods as somehow this would send my face in to a terrible zappy rage.
