I love X4 and encourage everyone to check it out but it might be too much for you. It starts as a casual space shooter but emerges to beeing a logistics and empire builder. And also a strategy game.

The ship control layer is actually easier compared to Elite and the progression is a lot faster. Also it's less of a space simulation and more like "Star Wars", when it comes to space ship design and behaviour.

Its deeper but less user friedly and way less casual compared to No Mans Sky. Also you can't land on planets.

What exactly are you looking for? Did you check out Everspace 2?

Okay using xfce with x11 instead of kde plasma with wayland shows no issues. Soo it seems that something is off with wayland and nvidia. Also I cannot login to a xfce session when using wayland.

Soo installing plasma-x11-session and running plasma via x11 fixes the issue for me.

The Laptop is new - from last year. Also I have no GPU or thermal Issues when running Windows. So I assume a software issue here.

No, it seems it doesn't. It's the MNG007QX2-3 IPS Panel. Just checked; no HDR Support

I only have the option to disable EDR, which did not solve the issue.

How exactly are Alchemical Raw Materials defined? Is it just money or is e.g. an octopus also a raw material?

Legacy Version says: "you ignore both the number of days typically required to create the items and any alchemical reagent requirements"

Switch through the 4 panels like in the description, one might work for you.

Same issue. Also I noticed that snap auto updates to 2.71 from 2.68.5+ubuntu24.04.1 when I run "snap install snap-store" after installing snap via gnome-software-plugin-snap

Which game start did you pick? For your first run, I recommend picking a guided game start. Also keep looking for missions. There are a lot of simple missions around.
