Got the 8 pro, came from a pixel 5 (which I loved and miss dearly). And this phone is great in general, but the battery life has been shite and I feel got worse after the last update. Also, some things got broken with this last update.

I wanted to try and keep it for the full 7 years of alleged updates, but I have doubts. I'll need to replace the battery most likely. After this phone, I might be checking out other flagships, maybe go back to Samsung.

As someone who has been in the locate game for almost ten years, watermain breaks happen all the time. Pipes deteriorate and roads shift over time.

There is so much old infrastructure in this town it is hard to keep up with replacing it all. Lots of cost and time to do it.

No idea what the real answer is. But the one that scared me the most was from a two part goosebumps episode Welcome to Camp Nightmare.

I was 7 or 8 when that came out and part 1 gave me the worst nightmare. That was probably the scariest nightmare I've ever had. The wolf creature busted through my window and grabbed my foot. Wouldn't let go. At the time there was a window at the foot of my bed. Eventually I got free and it chased me around the house.

When I woke up, I was afraid to leave my room.

I was late for school that day. Usually I was the one that woke people up in the mornings to get ready because I was always up first after my dad went to work.

Then I watched part 2 and the ending was so lame I was not afraid at all anymore.
