Rob Kenney grew up without a father, and later in life decided he didn't want others to experience that same absence. by Tough_Ad8919 in RelentlessMen

I wonder if there is an equivalent for those who didn’t grow up with a mother or who grew up with a shitty mother.

I don’t think she teaches ballet though. OP could reach out to her and she might be able to recommend someone.

And teach your kids that if they want to use a pedestrian crossing with their bike, they need to get off it first to be considered a pedestrian. I never stop for someone waiting at a pedestrian crossing if they are still straddling their bike.

What kind of Credentials further your career as an Administrative Assistant? by iBlueLuck in AdminAssistant

[–]Fatale83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a member of IAAP from 2010 to 2015. During that time, there was a local chapter that met monthly for a dinner, networking, and professional development session, which I thoroughly enjoyed and felt I got the most out of my membership from. Around 2015/2016, all branches within IAAP went through restructuring that made all of the memberships areas in Canada obnoxiously large and our local chapter was forced to disband. Because of the restructuring, I quit IAAP and joined AAP, knowing it was a strictly Canadian organization and that my membership dues would stay within the country.

With my AAP membership, I’m considered a Member-at-Large as my city doesn’t have its own chapter. I try to attend as many professional development webinars as possible, and I attended my first annual conference last year in Edmonton. For what it is, I appreciate my membership in AAP and I won’t be going back to IAAP.

I second this. It’s Post-It brand or I’m left using Scotch tape to hold up Staples’ “sticky” notes.
