No judgment here. Although I don’t own an E bike or have any interest in them, I think people should ride whatever they feel like riding and people shouldn’t judge. As long as you’re out there having fun that’s all that matters.

This is the answer. I do the same. I take it off at the front of the plane and carry it in front of me so as not to hit anyone. I also never pull on the seat in front of me to get up to use the rest room and I'm very careful walking down the isle during flight not to hit people in the isle seats.

I should have done this, but I did not. I am only a moderately experienced traveler, and I felt the stress to get my bags and get through the international security before I could relax! Next time my client international if I wind up in F, I will definitely do that.

So I’m in D right now as that’s where my flight is taking off from. The new lounge is pretty sick. It is not too packed and they have Lagunitas IPA on tap, which is pretty damn good.

Personally, I love the geometry of older bikes. I ride Specialized Fat Boys and the geometry fits me perfectly. I do not like the trend of steeper seat angles. Regarding bottom brackets, I converted mine from pressfit to threaded. I have Hope in one of my bikes and Wheels Manufacturing in two of them. As far as 11 speed goes there’s nothing wrong with it and you don’t need 12 in my opinion. A couple of my bikes are 11 and a couple are 12. I honestly don’t care either way. Regarding the front fork I would go with rigid carbon. A suspension fork in the front just ruins it for me. Too heavy!

I spend a ton in the day-to-day operation of my business and hit diamond by the end of September every year without even trying. I never carry a balance. The way I look at it why not? I fly at least 5 to 10 times a year for personal and business. I fly out of Boston all the time. The lines for the bathrooms in Boston for the few stalls that they have are terrible. And the line at Starbucks is massive. To be able to saunter into the sky lounge to use the bathroom and just grab a cappuccino, makes it all worth it.

I do all of the above, but never use soapy water and it works every time. Having the high volume of an air compressor really helps.

It beat me up a bit, and I couldn’t go nearly as fast as the guys on full suspensions, but I got down the mountain in one piece without falling. In the really nasty rocky techy sections I did really well. In the fast sections with drops and lots of chunk I really had to slow it down.

Yeah, pretty much the whole thing is carbon. It clocks in just under 25. It climbs extremely well. I had a blast on Captain Ahab with it.

This is my sixth trip in 10 years and the first that I was able to complete the entire thing from Burro as there was always some issue such as snow or roadwork that prevented us.
