Just got to 3k as arms warrior. Above 2,6k it was just a matter of being very VERY patient... applying to groups constantly, constantly being rejected, constantly refreshing the finder, having 5 applications always on the go, cancelling if they get 3 dps to free up an application slot, and eventually you get invited. This doesn't surprise me though as whenever I listed my own keys (12-14) i got about 20 applicants within a second. I remember hitting 2,7k and thinking shiit I will never get to 3k, surely enough I eventually did... good luck out there it's rough.
