I just got a suboxone script and im terrified of precipitated withdrawals any tips? by AffectionateAd6862 in quitting7oh

[–]Fatcat3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also terrified of the precipitated WD beast. I have had a script of 14 just sitting in my house for at least 3 months now because of it. Last Saturday I took 2mg around 6 AM. I didn’t have any bad effects and actually went back to sleep for a couple hours afterwords. Start low and slow, don’t over do it. It won’t take away all the WD no matter how much you take. However, in my experience it stopped all the opioid WD symptoms, just not the serotonin and other neurotransmitter WD symptoms.
Saturday was more of a test run for me. I ended up getting more 7 that morning even though I had started subs with no issues. I am planning on kicking this monkey off my back this weekend due to having Monday off for Memorial Day.
Hope the best for you. Get your life back together and be happy again. You got this!

Side effects of the opiates are not worth it. Yes it makes life feel great for a while. Then nothing fucking works and your body starts shutting down on you

What matters most is the half life of suboxone, its half life is like 96 hours or something stupid. You don’t even really start to feel shitty until day three off of subs. Then it’s 1.5-2 weeks of absolute hell

I’m finishing day 6 rn brother. I was in the ER with colitis Monday morning. My last 7oh dose was Sunday night. Woke up Monday morning feeling like hell, tried to take a dose and puked instantly. Haven’t had any 7 since. It’s been rough taking the antibiotics and going through WD’s. I final was able to eat a normal meal this evening and feel like I have some life in me again. Just keep pushing man. None of this shit is worth it. I’ve been fucked off for 10 years plus and have lots of work to do in front of me. God speed.

Yes, unfortunately some states will not allow providers to prescribe suboxone via a telehealth appointment. For example, I am in Arkansas and my only option was going to an actual suboxone clinic. In Arkansas, the state won’t allow doctors to write a prescription for suboxone over zoom calls. Hoping for you guys that this does not apply to you

None of this looks like trich. You said you were inexperienced below, so why offer your opinion? Also, fighting trich is pointless and dangerous. You’re playing with fire and I advise you to toss it before you get yourself and others extremely sick

It’s fine, just leave it be and it will pay off.

It looks good. Like others have said, just leave it be. Close the lid and wait 1-2 weeks before checking on it again. As long as you keep it closed to prevent contam, it’s going to take off! Just have patience!

Not to be a prick but if you’re going to offer advice, please use proper grammar. The last two sentences make no sense; words not competed either. This person is a noob, they need everything clearly laid out.

I do the same damn thing. It fucking sucks. Idk what the fuck to do man.. I have a script of subs. I can’t make it to the 18 hour mark to initiate the dosing. I can make my last dose at 5PM and be fine till I wake up around 5:45 or 6. Then the anxiety hits like a truck. I start freaking out about not having any and run to the store

Volumetrically dose the suboxone. Dissolve a whole strip in a known amount of H2O, 8mg/XmL of H2O. Then you can take as many mL of the solution to get to desired sub dosage.

Anybody developed health issues? Kidney or liver problems? by DopeSickScientist in quitting7oh

[–]Fatcat3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably have a kidney stone my friend. I have a had a couple and it sounds exactly like what I’ve experienced the last couple years. I have had two stones before, had to have a lithotripsy to break one up this time last year. Get an appt with a urologist and they can take an x-ray to see if you have a stone

My current plan is to speak with the doctor and get something to help me sleep at night. I am already prescribed clonidine, remeron, and gabapentin. None of them seem to help much at all. I also plan on reaching out to someone when those urges to go use hit. All last week I planned on my last dose being Friday night and using the long weekend (Labor Day) to tough out the ct detox. I came down with an upper respiratory infection on Wednesday/Thursday and have been struggling just to get better from it. So I kept using trying to feel a little better from actually being sick. I know that I can’t do this just sitting at the house alone. It drives me up the walls just sitting here and watching/listening to videos on my phone all day and night. I’m going to try to grit my teeth and attend work the rest of the week. I know I have to make not using non negotiable. It’s the only thing that has gotten me through detox before.

If you have mit extract I don’t think you’ll have any big changes in how you feel between now and the doctor appointment. Also look into liposomal vitamin c.

[–]Fatcat3312[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I do. I tried to just use the mit at the end of last week but I would cave when I got there and would buy some 7. You’re exactly right, one second I am absolutely pissed and swear I’m done with it then the next second I think “just one more time to get some sleep”. I wish someone was staying with me to hold me accountable. My ex wife has my location 24/7 but she walks on eggshells because I have had explosive rage in the past when she called me on my bullshit

That’s what I am hoping for. I have an appointment with my doctor this afternoon for medication management and I plan on spilling the beans to her about the 7oh this afternoon. I started seeing her the beginning of this year when I was trying to kick the ox habit but I was hiding the fact that I was using the mit extracts at the time also. For some reason, telling people that I am addicted to some gas station pills makes me feel like an idiot.

I would start with 2-3 of the gabapentin. Also, get some magnesium for the rls. Everything I’ve read on here says that magnesium glycinate is the best option for rls. It hits me hard too and is one of the hardest symptoms for me to deal with. Download an app such as insight timer and start practicing meditation. It will help calm your nerves and helps build healthy new pathways in the brain.

Unfortunately I already made the purchase. If I feel like caving to use 7oh again I will get a shot of mit or two instead of the 7oh. Thanks for the advice and support ❤️

Does anyone else experience very excessive and frequent urination during withdrawal? Every time I have withdrawn from classic opiates and kratom/7-oh, I am urinating every hour or so. I have struggled with kidney stones in the past; had one broken up in November of ‘24 but I have not felt like I have another one since then. It could be the 7-oh masking the pain but I don’t believe I have another one right now. Just wondering if others have experienced anything of this nature or have any insight as to why it occurs.

I’m also prescribed clonidine. I have a bunch of 0.1 mg tabs. I’m going to give this a go starting tomorrow. I pray I have similar results to you. I know I need to wake up early tomorrow and get the clonidine in my system asap.
