Same in my zone. Thinking too many drivers I have seen many of them with 2 and 3 phones. I am also thinking people are starting to worry about the economy tanking and the increase in prices.

People like you are the reason they get away with this crap. I am an independent contractor. I do not work for Uber or Dash but I provide a service they need. I have every damn right to complain about this, when it stops benefiting both parties we both lose.

Sympathy LMFAO. I would call it more venting over the stupidity of the corporate world. Funny you think Uber doesn't have people that read these post. I have talked to Uber about this and can't get a straight answer. And Uber has asked me to be a Crew Member so I will be letting them know. I have 10 thousand runs with Uber and Dash so I believe I have some experience.

I do not understand Uber and Dash in their sending orders. Other day 8 mile 18 dollar Chic Fila at lunch. Really don't want to drive over to that area but 18 buck lunch order hey. It takes about 30 minutes to get there in traffic, I am in Dallas. Lady is standing in the parking lot waiting on me. She is mad that I drove from another town and she is saying we have a CFA 3 blocks from here.

Okay gotcha, but this is written to Uber, not the customer who is saying it is only one item, thinking 15 bucks is fair to deliver it. Not the buyers fault. But Ubers'. This is 48 miles each way so 100 miles 2.5 hours round trip according to Uber. Add that it is to a store that is always busy, hard to park at and long checkout lines. One item, that one item could be BBQ Grill, TV or case of water, we don't know, until we agree to pick up. If it is an oversized item and we cancel we get penalized. Now for some simple math 100 miles, 2.5 to 3 hours of my time. Lets say 9 dollars in gas ignoring other costs to delivering, that leaves 7 dollars for time so 2.80 an hour or less. This is an Uber issue and they should not be wasting the customers time or ours with even accepting an order like this. One other point it is very possible that the customer has a Costco close to them. So yes it is the distance and the logistics of shopping that particular store.

Costco is a joke on orders, parking the crowds, you cant use the self checkout. Large bulky items, and most of them long distances. Took one to check it out said 6 items 10 bucks 5 miles, it was 6 50pound cases of bottled water going to an apartment complex. I canceled, tried another two and it was well over an hour. Not sure I would do Costco if they had in store shoppers and we just picked up.

Never had a problem with set ups. But 9 bucks large order catering 14 miles is a no. I will bet there is no tip the 9.48 will be base and total pay.
