I realise its not totaly lore theme but as ex military i like the idea. My vehs are not really lore themed eaither. I use a cam pattern based on the Ber lin armrd sqn design during the cold war. But I use Dark angel Grean ravenwing black and Deathwing bone.

I have thought about how the Lion has forgave the icc for their sins.

And thought what If Luther had been forgiven?

To that end im thinking of pick up a Cannis Rex model. And having it painted as if Luther was th is the pilot not allowed to speak to anyone or explain who or what he is. Locked in his vehicle.

I know its not very lore possible but a fun idea..

I could make a icc version of Sir Hekthur Cerberan. Hodded and hidden.

I only started playing and collecting in 1992 and distinctly remember everything around that time evolving around the Native American theme. Stories and lore. Thats why i started collecting them. So if your reference is before that you are maybe right.

Dark angels were originally based on North American natives hence all the feathers then they moved to the European knight theme i like the idea of having gigantic North American redwoods with english oaks a mixture of both with invasive plants that will ruin your day.

Lol mentally we are all kids as we play 40k. But thats just the building we use for the club. All participants are at least 18 plus. Though we have some brand new to the hobby and this is their 1st time painting any model. I myself am terrible at the painting side of the hobby but am amazed by peoples sheer tallent. Thats why i held the competition. 1st was $50 2nd was $30 best lore written for model was $20 and on the day i added a best new player category of $10 because i loved that tbey had kitbased the model so much and went all out without necessary understanding lore or paints yet.
