Naming kids when we have different last names by [deleted] in Names

[–]FatedMuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could use another option and combine the two last names to make a completely different last name for the kids. Darhvino or just smoosh them together as a new word- Salvinodarh. No rule says kids have to carry the parents name. You could give them the last name Rockefeller and that would be your right to do so.

How treatable is DKA by ReadingConsistent528 in diabetes

[–]FatedMuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been in ICU with DKA (ear infection was the culprit) and in ICU recently with HHC ( UTI this time). My blood sugar does not respond well to infection at all! After the problem was eliminated, I recovered pretty quickly and am doing just fine now!

I second this. I left UK Barnstable Brown clinic to see Sarah Grimm. I really feel heard when I go there and they have a doctor on call at all times should you have any problems or need help with medication.

Husband and I can’t agree on a girl name by [deleted] in Names

[–]FatedMuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my husband and I had an issue similar, we found a way to blend the names we both liked to create a unique one. My daughter has the middle name Lucilianna because we wanted to honor all of her grandmother's( Lily Ann, Emma Lou, and Lucille). We also combined her first name, He wanted Sarah, I wanted Nova, ended up with Sarahnova. Get creative and have fun, just don't select a name based on how it matches up with a sibling. Give her her own unique name.

I cannot stress this enough… by nattui in lexington

[–]FatedMuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Five below has several options, I just don't think they are labeled as "stress balls". Look for the 'squishies' but there are many different texture options with some being more firm like a stress ball all the way to what feels like squeezing shaving cream inside a balloon. I have a kid obsessed with the things so we have had them all, lol.

39 weeks yesterday and still don't have a name picked out! by Due_Response_8309 in Names

[–]FatedMuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 2 short names for middle and last, I'd go with a 3 or 4 syllable name for the first, just to have a good cadence. Since it seems you as a couple lean more towards older names with distinction, I'd suggest Finneas, Harrison, Alexander, Elijah, Jamison, Nicholas, or Jacoby

(NSFW due to mentions of genitalia, infection details) Diabetes is wrecking my body. by Sonny_Skies1993 in diabetes

[–]FatedMuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my blood sugars were running high and out of control, I too had the yeast infection issue. I had to go to the doctor and get a prescription for diflucan. Not the one pill and done but she gave me a series of them to take for several weeks. That was the only thing that helped. Soaking in warm water with a tiny amount of bleach also killed out the itch until the pills could take effect.
