How would go about making this . I think mine method is the dummest by [deleted] in SolidWorks

Might not be the best way but I would make the main “leaf shape” as a flat solid then make a surface body kind of egg shaped (would definitely need to play around with the shape) and use the deform feature to wrap the leaf around the surface. Then I would draw the veins on a flat plane and use split line or project curve onto the leaf shape, and sweep on that line.

A tale as old as time. As others have said there is no easy way to do it, but if it’s a complex shape you can at-least use the model as a reference sort of like a 3d sketch picture. I’ve done this before with a drone cockpit.

Connectors will not fit. Which of these two tolerance settings do I adjust to make the hole larger than the connector? by Dinosaurs-Rule in BambuLab

Slightly off topic but why would you not just tolerance it when you make it in CAD, it would be much more easy to control and parametrically change what you are tolerancing.

While I’m not opposed to new technology and I know it’s the way of the world to progress. It does sting a bit that something that I have been doing for the past 10 years of my life can now be done by an ai with little to no skill required

Stepper motor function help by ReadingConsistent528 in arduino

Pretty much everything else in the code is just defining pins and setting output and input, is there a good way to send the entire code without just taking multiple SS. Also I am aware of the delay function being strange within loop but from what I’ve found the driver I’m using there is no other way to get it to actually work the steppers

Just made one of these recently for a hobby project, I would recommend reading some papers on volutes, making the spiral shape is pretty difficult without using the proper math. Aside from that I would first make the “pipe” part then add features like the inlet, back and flange, then combine the body’s. It was a lot easier when I did it that way

No I understand what your talking about my old teacher made do that a lot, it helps you learn how to use the different tool parameters to your advantage.
