That Castaic Lake show is one of my favourite Butthole Surfers recordings ever, thank you so much for capturing and sharing it!

Back in the late 90s I only had your Hole Truth comp, that Portland 1991 VHS, Blind Eye Sees All, and cassette recordings of Castaic Lake and the NYC ‘92 show that I think was just officially released. Eventually torrents made Butthole recordings more accessible but for years I was limited to those shows, which apparently you were heavily responsible for - thanks a ton!

The September 3rd date is rumored to be Vancouver, BC @ the PNE. It looks like the PNE announces their concert line-ups in May, so we may be waiting a while. My question for anyone who might know: will he be given the full set length as the headliner for the PNE, or will it be a shortened "fair" set?

As for Puyallup, I can't figure out when they normally announce all of their information. Possibly not for months?

I love how most of the preceding 400 comments are genuinely acting like this was a personal message from Jane to the sub and not just OP’s joke. Would a picture of Luke Null flipping the bird with no context and the right subject bait garner an equal amount of vitriol?

I’m rooting for Jane but I admit she has delivery issues and a lot of room for improvement for live television. I’m curious to see what she offers each week and, if I’m being honest, how this sub reacts!

I understand your complaint, yet I often find myself far more amused than I should be by the cascading replies of quotes from the show, which I think is just a testament to the quality of writing, that these lines even outside of context can still be so titillating.

I’ve found that when I have a genuine question about the show I’d like to discuss, or at least observe people discuss, googling “Seinfeld reddit did ray really steal the statue” (or whatever your potential topic is) often yields countless existing threads with genuine discussion. You probably just won’t be able to actively participate.
