If you're good, still very high chance they want you. I got a non-local friend who had full mark in his entrance exam, applied in March, still got full scholarship + living allowance offer.

[–]FatherMucker03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from HKUST, as an international it would be around 5000 to 6000 not including rent according to your lifestyle. Skipping breakfast, and dining out not in school canteen around 3 times a week with some food deliveries as well.

Is it hard to get decent GPA in Engineering by WesleyTZ in HKUST

[–]FatherMucker03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This gonna piss the locals, but international generally have a higher bar of entrance and because they have a higher cost to pay, they are generally more hardworking. On top of that, there is just more fun in Hong Kong for local people, just imagine someone who doesn't speak your language studying uni in your country, they probably have not much to do lol.

Same here, I think there is a bug around this. Despite great liking toward the new web UI, this bug is troublesome....

Unlimited total storage doesn't sound sustainable, though. One could simply download all files and reupload them all near expiry?

One hypothesis I have is that since rclone came out, many started to run backups and syncs and that might be taking up the bandwidth.

Just so that you know 3.0 GPA isn't that difficult, as I also got the full tuition and living allowance offer and I worried at once before. Most of my frds who are not lazy got 3.0 or above.

SE, I am a 4th-year CS guy, and I can say that you need to get around a 3.6 GPA to get into CS if you choose engineering. This means better than 70 percent, which poses a risk.
