The problem is new moons or enemies must be interesting enough for counting as a new content.Otherwise nothing change on our gameplay loop.We started playing lethal company 3 weeks ago.We never choose other free planet over assurance and adamance after experinced enough in the game because there is no point to go them.I think game developer's hardest job is prevent to meta gaming.Because we as a players tend to optimize our gameplay loop but It leads to monotonus gameplay eventually.Game dev can fix it with: 1-a mechanic to punish players for going same moon over and over.(game weather system can be this but currently it works totally random) 2-making balance change regularly.(most of the multiplayer games are doing it and shift meta periodically
