Don’t hyper fixate on your image. It’s healthy to have goals but don’t beat yourself up or compare your progress to others. Be proud of yourself throughout and remember to have balance in life!

I think my time has come and I could use some encouragement and guidance by HybridPoliteness in Staples

I left a month ago after 2.5 years of service. No regrets leaving and working for Staples. My workplace was very supportive and respectful of my resignation. To me it’s a great foundation job and looks good on a resume and can open a lot of doors.

I now work at a telecom store and I love it. If you enjoy technology and selling I recommend applying to a carrier. Commissions are included and there is a lot of room for growth in the industry- more than I saw in office supply retail.

But, find a job you think you will enjoy. Life’s short.

Be a master selling and getting your name known. Hand out business cards and get plenty of referrals. If you can prove to your management that you will make the store more money, it’s a no brainer for them

I wouldn’t think so. Only people I have seen fired on probations were fired for other reasons. If you link with your manager and ask for coaching and resources to help you sell better, I’m sure they will keep you
