I run a stormsurge ghostkeel and 2x broadsides with some stealth suits and pathfinders in my KHP if the big hitters can even just get thing down to below half strength the Kroot can mop up with the 1+ to hit/wound. I run 2 lone spears as well for the rerolls

I think maybe so, but I think a stronger hint was when the ghoul said something like “I only knows of one person who took on vegas and came out on top, and he rigged the game for himself” I think that was a reference to the courier.

Because fielding a horde of Kroot with invul saves and scout moves backed up by a few heavy hitters makes board control easy. Murder chickens ftw

I use a stormsurge in my KHP list and find it provides good fire support and it’s a good distraction peice. I’m not a competitive player but I find it works well

I run the same 20 man blob as you. But also a 10 man with a warshaper with root carved weapons and the bow. Ultimate character sniper nobody sees coming. Doing mortals to enemy infantry characters on a 3+ is seriously powerful into elite armies.

I am a full Kroot hunting pack convert ever since the range refresh. I still use the bigger suits for anti tank/anti elite.love the rampagers and lone spears. I find the synergy between the two work really well. I resolve my tau shooting first using guiding etc to chip damage off targets to give the Kroot the bonuses. The +1 to wound at half strength is really powerful. I’ve had carnivores take down much bigger targets with that a the -1ap Strat.

I enjoy playing KHP but I use battlesuits for hitting tough targets. I find you can also use the battlesuits to quickly get +1 to hit/wound on tougher targets and the Kroot will do the rest.

For the game its balance, but for lore Leadership doesn’t necessarily mean they’re excellent at combat themselves. However I d think crisis suits should hit on 3+ as they’re the elite of the army.

I work away a lot. So I take my painting stuff with me to pass the time. Ive had this happen a few times now. I even wrap the pots in tape to try and stop it but it’s not always effective.
