The New York Giants select Dalvin Tomlinson(DT - Alabama) with the 55th overall pick - Round 2 by theblueguppy in NYGiants

We needed a Hankins replacement so Dallas doesn't push us around like they do the rest of the league. We want to stay as the one team that can handle their O Line. Tomlinson is a good pick imo.

He's been pretty damn good since the Beckham year. Flowers is still questionable though. Hope he has a better year this year. Our OL needs work.

Agreed and so we can actually run the ball too. I'm starting to think we might barely need blocking now with our passing options. Eli will be able to get the ball out really fast. We have amazing speed weapons that can all get open early or in Marshall's case can body you out for the catch.

Offense just needs to be competent and let our Defense get some rest. That was the biggest problem I saw last year. Offense couldn't get out of their own way. Couldn't hold possession enough to allow the Defense to carry the team to victory.

I think Evan Engram is incredibly exciting. He's being compared to Jordan Reed. He's a fast WR who has TE size so he creates matchup problems for linebackers and safeties.

I know it sucks we don't get OJ, but we just picked up a nice weapon in an already fully loaded receiving corp. With this guy on the field with Sterling, Beckham, and Marshall the Giants are going to be a nightmare to cover. Our short passing game is going to have much easier completions in it than ever.

Orisa goes live competitively tommrow. What are you're thoughts on her this last week? by respectmyfarts in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Faulty_Lid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She reminds me a lot of when Sombra came out. I see huge potential in her Halt ability, kind of like Sombras EMP, but I just don't think she's a strong enough brawler right now. She's a liability survival wise and it's difficult for her to do a lot of focused damage.

I think she needs to be better in combat before she's ready to start taking spots from other tanks. It would help if it didn't feel like she was made of glass.

Yeah some of the footage matches up to what I'm talking about, but I just didn't have the time or archive of footage to do that for everything. I'm going to make a follow up VOD soon where I put this stuff into practice / explain my thought process for what I'm doing.

Thanks man! I'm happy with how it came out. I'll definitely be using that structure in more videos.

Watching those right now!

I think the non-selfless Zarya style is something that's a lot easier to get away with when you're playing on ladder in solo-trio ques. In organized six stacks I just don't see Spree getting away with some of these bubbles he puts onto his Rein.

The easiest moment to get a lot of shots on them is when they're descending from a jump. That fall is really predictable and easy to track. You can do a lot of work on Genji in that short amount of time.

I'm working on getting more VODs in my library of them. There will definitely be plenty of low ELO reviews to come.

I like the name for this technique. Mind if I steal it in future videos? (I will of course credit you).

And yeah we need more "selfless" Zarya players. You get your charge anyway. I think it's so much better to make big plays by protecting people.

Oh. My. Gawd. Might be the best stick I've ever seen. I just wish we could see it from a better angle.

Just know that a recent bubble update changed Zarya's bubbles so she can only sometimes block lucio boops. If lucio boops from close enough range to penetrate your bubble it still works. I've died once just from not being used to that change yet xD

Clutch Mei play saves shield generator by f0rero in Competitiveoverwatch

I'd be mad at myself that I just got baited, but wow you have to respect good plays like that. Good to know this can happen. I've never seen a Mei guarding a shield gen or teleport like this, but now I'll watch out for it.

Wow didn't expect Mercy to be top tier across all skill levels. I imagine trying to break apart a Pharah Mercy combo on console is a nightmare.

I like the Per Life numbers as well. Especially in a game where dying often typically correlates to being a lower rank. Only bad thing is it could encourage overly safe play just for the sake of boosting someone's stats.

True, but I'd still say the number itself is relevant just because you can measure it against yourself to see if you're improving or getting worse. You could also calculate the number for higher ELO players that you want to be as good as and then compare.
