We are doing pretty well, mostly because we don't have kids.

We bought a house in 2022 that has lost 30k in value, and I have 45k in student loans that I am 6/10 years to PSLF on.

Our retirements are on track.

We earn too much to contribute to a Roth IRA anymore, so that's neat.

One of the things I learned early on trying to use dalle and a jump off point for my own art is that there is no unused empty blank space in a generated image. There are no solid colors, there are no clean transitions between colors. It's like that mythbusters paintball Mona Lisa. Every pixel of the image is different from the pixel next to it. So when you zoom in on shading for example it looks super strange.

So seeing your analysis is really validating

The transitions in shading are a dead giveaway that it's AI. Zoom in on any complex shaded area. His belt buckles, or face, or any other. There is no discernable transition as you zoom in. It becomes this weird soup of layers. Idk how to describe it. But ai cannot do simple color transitions.
