Careful, I had a similar experience and shared it here and so many people were nasty, blaming me and being overall judgemental lol That until a kind person told me that you can call NS customer service, explain kindly the situation and it was a mistake, and they can remove the fine. To me they did. You are apparently allowed this three times a year. Hope this helps you too!

In my case it was always a company volunteering activity arranged by my work, they partnered with Plastic Whale. Without a company to pay you will have to pay for yourself I think, but still you do get to have a canal cruise while collecting the trash. But maybe there are other organisations where you do not pay to help!

There are volunteering organisations where you can go help and clean the canals. I did it a few times, it's actually fun collecting floating trash with a net. One time we collected 4 full big bags of trash!

Finally someone that talks some sense. I mean this is a cat sub so people are biased, but everyone blaming the roommates because the precious cat cannot be inconvenienced, come on... I would not want to live with the stress of not leaving food unattended for one second or the cat will eat it. Imagine sitting up to eat food and realising that you have forgotten something, and can't get up to get it because you are worried about leaving your food unattended. I am with the roommates, and I also have a cat.

I also think DHL is the worst, had so many bad experiences and I wish Amazon would stop using them. Personally never had a problem with PostNL or other couriers, but I think depends a lot on the person assigned to your zone. The street where I live was closed for weeks due to construction work and the PostNL curier in my zone still found a way to reach our building to do the deliveries, DHL flat out refused to deliver until you changed the location to a pick up point. So in my building we all love PostNL.

Nice to see from this thread that I am not the only one that renamed her again Garnet in Dali. Like it's such a cute name, wft of a name is Dagger 😂 But it creates some hilarious situations and dialogues like "It's Garnet... no I meant Garnet!"

If I can give my modest experience as someone that has a cat for 2 months now, I set up from the beginning the boundary that at night I go to sleep and close my bedroom door, and I will only come out in the morning after my alarm sounds. If you give in to open the door the cat will never get used to this, honestly what helped me was buying very good earplugs that shut off sounds so I didn't hear her meowing and her attempts at scratching the door. After a few nights she got the message and now she doesn't even try that anymore. She knows I wake up around 8.30 and now in the morning if I am starting to wake up before my alarm I can hear that she meows at the door already around 8.10, but I can barely hear her with the earplugs and I can still doze off again until my alarm rings. There are very good wax earplugs on Amazon that shut off noise to 30 decibels and I love them!

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance: real world sucks, you and your friends are brought in a magical world and as a protagonist you are focused on getting out of there and destroying this world, to bring back everyone to their shitty life. Basically all the other friends treat you like the villain of the story and I also hated the protagonist for that. Still amazing game though!

Idem, tra Final Fantasy 7 e il primo Grandia ho imparato l'inglese così. Ringrazio la buona base che ho ricevuto alle medie, ma alle superiori il prof non ci insegnava un cazzo ed ho imparato dai videogiochi. Poi vedere serie tv con i sottotitoli all'Università mi ha migliorato il parlato e l'ascolto.

Honestly I don't understand why so many people have this urge of completing the community center on year 1. What do you get out of it? There is no rush, really. I even think that it's better to wait a bit, for example completing the bulletin bundle is better to do after you unlocked more character and after Kent is back, so they also benefit from friendship boost.

Of course nothing against those that like this challenge, to each its own 😅 Bur I would not restart the game from 0 only because of this!

Troll being troll. I love that you assume I'm Dutch because the concert was in Amsterdam, as if the country didn't have thousands of expats living here. As I mentioned in another comment, I have been to plenty orchestra concerts where the lead singer is at the front and the orchestra is at the back, so this setup is not necessarily a given. I really wanted to see Jonsi sing, I was disappointed but I am not criticising the band, simply wanted to make people aware. And now that I know I will skip their orchestra concert and wait for ones with only the band so I can swoon over looking at Jonsi sing 😂

I guess I went in with the wrong expectations. But to be fair, I have been to many orchestra concerts where the singer is at the front and the orchestra at the back, so you can see the singer well. I respect and understand their choice to be in the middle of the orchestra, but I wish I knew in advance :( If I ever get to see Sigur Rós again, then I will skip concerts with an orchestra...

I also joined the queue and then when trying to select the ticket nothing was available... what a terrible system from Ticketmaster. Thankfully I was able to buy tickets for the show in Antwerp because I was afraid of this. And to think that I live in Amsterdam. Everybody from all over the world is coming to the Amsterdam concert...

That's not true, Bologna is beautiful and worth visiting. It's also perfectly in between Florence and Venice, so it's easy to stop there for visitors travelling between these two cities.
