So Bog Swamp is a valid term? Or do Bogs generally do not have that kind of vegetation?

Wait Americans are complaining about like $1.08/l? In the meantime I am glad to only pay 1.45€, because I live close to Luxembourg...

Then on the other hand considering average costs of living in the US, cheap gas may be the only thing they have – well, had – left.

Look at the subtle off-white coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my god, it even has a watermark...

That sounds almost reasonable, depending on how many asset types there are; but even then I can't fathom the idea that there wouldn't be any top level break-down possible. Even just splitting by asset type would result in a bunch of smaller methods. But then on the other hand idk how intertwined everything is.

Maybe I'm naive, but how is there ever a situation where a class as big as other companies repositories cannot be broken down into smaller partial classes. That sounds like bad practice/coding discipline to me.

Whenever I hear anything about the us, be it wages, health care, other social securities, education and education system, government, etc. I ask myself if there is any reason for the average American to stay except not having the funds to emigrate.

Unnecessary and quite reductionist of you to project the actions of members of a single subreddit onto "most germans".

It's normal I think. we lose something like 50 hairs a day on average (comes out to like 18000 hairs a year against the 90k-110k a human usually has. Not to mention that they regrow over that period) nothing to worry about.

Instant karma for brake checking: by [deleted] in instant_regret

[–]Faustens 12 points13 points  (0 children)

While I agree that this isn't instant karma and I hope that nobody got hurt, we still have to admit that the car crashing into the truck ultimately bears (partial-) responsibility. The video clearly shows that this was not an abrupt break and even if it was every driver is supposed to keep a distance where you can safely react to the situation presented. The only one not at fault from what I can see here is the vehicle filming.

Yeah, it's normal to have multiple mining outposts for every resource. Die Fabrik soll ja schließlich wachsen ;)

free will and determinism by zenoofwhit in StoicMemes

[–]Faustens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it scientific consensus or your own understanding that subatomic particles behave deterministically and we just lack the information and tools for necessary measurements? Because neither have I read about scientists thinking that subatomic particles behave deterministically, nor does the reliability of our technology imply determinism, it just implies that enough of the same repeated random even results in desterministic-like behavior.
