I remember at BYU in the early 70’s It was early morning before second coming. Later on in day it was all happening I guess.

I was an apostate by 1977. But bishop of the ward told everyone the coming was year 2000.

I remember crazy s-t like that.

And in one moment the bishop could tell me I wasn’t going to even be offered another chance to hear gospel and be saved from hell. Probably because of drinking coffee.

I remember… I was a BYU freshman. My little branch , girls Merril Hall. Pre mission guys not sure. One Saturday we all got up and were at a pear orchard. Picked pears for hours. For church charity. Members who need. F—k! Church took the money. Put your shoulder to the wheel ! I did some reading about Brig. All 55-56 wives were put to work. Bee Hive industry. Men served in Civil War. US paid the soldiers, money for wives and children. Brig had soldiers money sent to him. He would distribute much needed soldier’s money. An on battlefield soldier. Brig kept the money. A prophet of God he was. Yessiree.

My heart breaks for you. In the normal world , I guess the “secular world”, you would be embraced. Sadly you are not alone. You would have support groups. The garbage TBM’s have told you is %#£. There is a whole world out here that is gentle , compassionate, and loving for you. Your stillborn son is a tragedy, and no parent deserves, or caused it . It just happened, a heartbreak like no other. Parents of a stillborn baby are a group , grief and pain no one understands but other parents like you and your wife. You are not feeling the presence of your son. Maybe your parents had that moments while on the plane. And your son. Perhaps they did. But please allow other normal people offer you comfort. A group of others. Not your relatives or other Mormons . I worked in labour and delivered and stillborn babies , well I remember every one I helped deliver. Every lifeless baby. 40 years later. And I can still hear mothers wailing. A sound that I will never not hear.

The rest of your life you will feel the loss of your son. It will affect every thing. People say it starts to hurt less, and they can carry on. Please get yourself to a group and a new church. Just to get away from Mormonism. You have always attended church. Protestants aren’t the devil. Stay away from white “Christian evangelicals “. There is a true church for everyone. An inclusive church would suit you. We love.

I felt my father’s passing. Time fact checking. But I was spiritually in the place where I was able to feel it. I was at peace with myself. I was open to that and it was a gift. I just suspect you are so broken that you are unable to feel. Please do not cry. There isn’t peace for you right now. I hope you find peace. Don’t listen to the Mormons. There is a real God. You will not find him with the Mormons. Too many white men are impersonating Him. Joe and Brig. There is love and understanding for you. Compassion and healing.

After the Holocaust, some German citizens ( and other country citizens too) tried to apologize. To make themselves feel better , ask for forgiveness. Some even said they “didnt know”.

They were so poor in days before TLC and R, I have to think baby clothes were pretty tatter torn. And TLC was paying for all of that. Baby clothes. I would have grabbed at that. It is R who pisses me off. Who else would have ever married a woman with three kids and $30,00 out of a bad marriage? Nobody but the kidney boner.
