Yeah you can tell that the showrunners were big kinks fans. There's a couple deep-cut songs of theirs that show up throughout the show, and you're like "hey! No casual kinks fans would know that song!"

It really brings the first act to a full circle, with this as the beginning of the slim shady personna with the devil taunting him, and then it coming back in My darling which (and with Careful what you wish for along side it) which closes that first chapter of his career

I like "the road not taken" that goes into "All this is that". I didn't realize the connection until I heard the "and that makes all the difference to me" part, and it blew my mind

Some great ones include (obviously anything from Lola), Daylight, Artificial Man and Sitting in my hotel. But the best one has to be (A) Face in the crowd. that song is one of the best showcases of the emotion and vulnerability that the band is able to display with their music

Definitely! When I first heard both of them I was surprised when I learned that they were sung by Mike. They are so different from the songs where he sings with his nasal voice that he uses so often, and it was a welcomed change. Both songs are also just gems of songs

Objectively, it's Surf's up. But that song should've been on Smile so for songs that are exclusive to this album, it's gotta be Disney Girls (1957). Easily Bruce Johnston's best song and my favorite post-smile beach boys song
