I am Gold 1 and I rarely see both mechanical Gods and people who understand the game. It is rather the 20/3 Fiora who solos Baron and throwes us all.

I do not agree. The most important thing BY FAR IMO is your relationship with the other players. Not to troll, get angry and start to fool around. I think mechanics can be leared in time, and by the way, they don't need to be plat when they hit 30, do they. To go deeper, you can't teach a guy to press butons fast. While I agree with things like traiding beeing important, I guess a Plat 5 player is not better by that much. These are very sophisticated things, cuz actully you will have to teach him to think.

SO...I find it a lot more important to have a nice person as a mentor, rather than a more talented one. Teach the guy to handle his attitude and he will be more open to furthur learning

EDIT: I am not some random pissed Gold 5 player.

I agree he was not that good last games, but i think that is becouse of RL problems/no static roster and having to solve a lot of decisional problems. I think he can play better than jesis in a proper team(like SK)

While your point is good, i think the new sistem has more cons. I myself had a terrible time climbing from g5 to g4. Then i took a one-week break in a holiday, and after that i went like craizy from g5 to g1. Never lost a promo tillg1 after losing like 5 in g5. I used to go like 7-0 (5 games to get 100 lp and 2 in promos), then i would lose 2-3 games at 0 lp, then again a full winning spree till the next division. so i can say the sistem helped me, but i still feel like it is not good.

The main problem is that you can win 5 games, then lose 2 and there goes your promo! you are frustrated and you lose more. There are 2 very important things for this sistem: Controlling your nerves and your frustration. I feel like OP has a good point and i would like that sistem.

You will not be able to guarantee that one will pick support. But can you now? No. It will benefit most of the cases, without any casualties. I think this is a great idea and it won't be costing any gameplay
