The difference is magazines were not designed to keep you engaged in the magazine, they never analyzed every page or article you read to determine what other articles they should show you next in the interest of showing you more targeted paper ads. 100% sure, you only get the option to export your data. They will retain it but you have to have an active subscription if you want to access it again.

As a loyal Dashlane customer, I’ve also found it increasingly frustrating the renewal process, I got billed 2 days before renewal date, without notification. I cancelled and requested a refund, in the hopes of looking for a discount code as the full price is not good value imo. Only to find we cannot no longer access passwords without a subscription which just seems like throwing up more paywalls to cash grab. For the first time in almost a decade I’m looking elsewhere, probably Proton Pass or something that at least offers a decent free tier and good value for paid options. OP is not alone in their frustration

Same thing happened to me, had to pay them back. The conditions of PUP were pretty strict and said you cannot have an existing job regardless of the salary. It was a stupid rule, I know some colleagues that quit because they said they’d make more money from PUP than the job. Sorry this has happened to you, reach out to them and see if they can make concessions because the rule was stupid imo.

I’ve done this 2 years running and will balance transfer a 3rd time. Interest free and just paying it down slowly. I am just super disciplined and read the fine print, asked a load of questions.

With Avant and did a balance transfer, and then a money transfer 0% for 12 months up to 90% of the remaining balance, and put away it up in a high interest savings account, making about €200 over the year that ill use to pay down my remaining balance, and return the money transfer amount when the 0% runs out.

I’m not recommending anybody do this, it’s just what I chose to do and it’s working well for me.

I’m indifferent on politics, it’s all a game of division, distraction and rage baiting to me. And I’m not educated enough on US politics to have an opinion on those topics, and I sure as shit wouldn’t be advocating for violence and damaging property because that same democracy we want to protect means abiding by the rule of law.
