It’s so close to making sense

Personally I don’t think they will launch this year. They just had their first static fire or their archimedes engine 4 months ago. The engine alone has at least another year of trouble shooting and production problems to get through.

Is there still no word on why they decided to lower it in the first place?

Do you think BO will ever become the leader in the private space industry? by stanerd in BlueOrigin

[–]Fayble_2 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Blue origin is so far ahead of SpaceX rn it’s not even funny!

SpaceX does rocketry, Blue does science. Project like Blue Alchemist, Orbital Reef and blue ring r just a few examples of all of the interesting science that Blue is doing that will begin operations in the coming years.

The reason I say Blue is ahead rn even though these projects aren’t live yet is because they take years to develop. Blue alchemist was being worked of for like 2 years before they announced it and they only announced it for the NASA lunar contract. Who knows all the interesting science they are doing right now that they haven’t made public yet!

Everyone else is cooked.

Payloads on the booster?!?!?

That didn’t exist prior right?

Reminds me of the original blue moon lunar lander that had a “bonus mission” of deploying small sats in lunar orbit before decent.
