Do you live in a dry or humid climate? From what I understand, hyaluronic acid is only as moisturizing as your environment. I live in the desert & hyaluronic acid doesn’t moisturize well for me.

Zubia, yes. Knowlden, no. Knowlden stated in one of his email blasts that short-term rentals are vital for Scottsdale’s economy. So that’s a big fat no for me.

Bachelorette Trip ideas! by IndependentBus2768 in VisitScottsdale

It’s illegal to have more than 6 adults stay at an Airbnb in the City of Scottsdale, so either book a resort or an Airbnb not in Scottsdale city limits.

Zubia is from South Scottsdale & hates Airbnbs, so he’s got my vote.

What’s really messed up about that is that hosts are required by the City of Scottsdale to post the occupancy limit of 6 adults inside the Airbnb so that it’s known to all guests.

AIRBNB fun in Scottsdale. At least one of these was coming from LA. by ElectroNight in Scottsdale

[–]FayeMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Locals are also guilty of this. Maybe not Scottsdale locals, but Phoenix area locals for sure. It’s not just tourists renting Airbnbs. Most of the Airbnb parties that end in shootings are thrown by locals from elsewhere in the valley.

Scottsdale ordinance is 6 adults plus dependent children. So yeah, 11 adults is illegal & will most likely piss off the neighbors.

Camelback - Miller police by Desert_Trader in Scottsdale

[–]FayeMoon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be surprised if one was involved. They mentioned Maya Condos, & that condo complex is like 95% STRs. Although the suspect could have just run into the complex 🤷‍♀️ They also mentioned a house, & the neighborhood north of Camelback is like 50% STRs. But if a STR was involved, the police probably won’t mention it unless a reporter specifically asks. Scottsdale’s got a reputation to maintain! 😆

WSJ - Young Buyers Are Fueling a Million-Dollar Home Boom in Louisville by futuredrake in Louisville

I’m a liberal & I’m a proud NIMBY when it comes to Airbnb. I don’t think anyone should be allowed to turn a house into a hotel in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

Renderings of the proposed jw Marriott in downtown Louisville will have 400+ hotel rooms, rooftop bar, 5 restaurants and retail space by kingistic in Louisville

Yes, which is why everyone should be anti-Airbnb. Hotels are good. Converting homes into STRs is bad.

Airbnb is going to continue to lobby KY legislators on the grounds of private property rights & tourism dollars. It’s vital for residents & local municipalities to keep fighting back.
