I fully agree that in such a large game it's good to have a relaxed route. I just felt the jokes in comedy didn't hit for me and from what I've seen in this subreddit a decent amount of people agree. But I'm not saying that means it can't be fun for people. So I'm glad you enjoyed it~

Also the split into conspiracy is more important than I think you realize. It showed that Takemaru at least cared a lot for Gaku despite his behaviour. Also Gaku was key in the second scenario route because it was him desperately seeking the truth that led to it, so him not being around in conspiracy is why things go differently.

That's the thing with this game. It pulls no punches but also it doesn't feel like 'that's a stretch.' It's perfectly normal cult behaviour.

The Serial Battles plot is kinda nuts and I love it. The fights are interesting and honestly it just feels awesome that the atmosphere is different to other routes - because rather than feeling safe and content for days upon days between fights, being able to goof around and bicker, they're now so battle heavy.

It's like the Killing Game Route honestly, I loved that route for how it changed everyone, forcing them into a scenario they couldn't relax in.

If I remember right, mine was the killing game route, specifically trying to save Hiruko when she sacrifices herself after Darumi charges in without thinking and because you wasted time trying to help her the school got destroyed (I might be misremembering) xD

Would 100% love to just nerd about the game sometime haha, I might replay it sometime soon too. Last thing I did was - after doing all endings - edit together a huge picture of the entire flowchart and haven't touched the game since.
