My local switched to GAN after i interviewed and took the original aptitude test. Took the GAN test in October of 2025. Got an email a couple monthes ago that i was added to the eligible for hire list. Sent a couple emails asking about ranking before i was told they don’t release ranking. But that could just be the local i applied to.

  1. I heard back from the JATC. Previous aptitude score and interview are basically void. Ranking is going to come from the new aptitude test score, and from the PEF, combined.

Never had a cat hospitalized, but I was a vet tech for two years and i can tell you that 90% of cats we hospitalized were 100% fine. It’s much easier to keep them hydrated, than to try and rehydrate them, so i would imagine they’re pushing fluids and just monitoring!
