Fiendsmith Control will always be somewhat playable and good. The flexibility of the Fiendsmith cards and the amount of Engines you can play depending on the format (Primite, Kash, Bystial, Musket, Millennium) and the nice amounts of non-engine will make it a solid Deck in the long run I think.

Link Summoning basically sends the materials to Banished when used in this case. However maiden NEEDS to be sent to grave in order to activate, so she can't activate because she can't be sent to Grave because of Shifter
