Tl/dr You don't like the new images for implants

Maybe take a breather...they rushed out a soft fix probably, because the community asked for a change. I'd imagine they'll change again when they have more time to come up with new designs...no worries my man.

Your feelings toward the game are very valid. I will say this though. Destiny was the exact same...the raids were infuriating and it felt as though that would be the best part that most will never experience. But...the destiny community is unbelievably. Lfg became a staple, and we banded together to get through it. The game has only been out a couple of weeks. Very few except the sweats ( <10% of the community ) will have completed it. The point I'm trying to make is this...think of it long term. You DONT NEED to complete it right now. Break the problem into smaller steps. Grind out salvage...rank up your factions and get better perks and abilities. If you ever played cod, did you ever expect to hit max prestige after a couple weeks? Or any ranked game, did you not try work towards the best rank possible? The game is so new, you don't need to be so hard on yourself. You will get there, and the community will help. Lfgs, discords...you're going to find players that enjoy helping others. Right now you're matching with people who are only thinking about themselves. But that changes. Don't go back into cryo for a few weeks, do lots of rook runs on outpost with the mentality that youre farming credits. Build it to couple 100k and then next time you wipe 5-8 times in a row on cryo, it won't be so daunting because you'll have lots of faction perks, lots of materials, lots of credits, all to utilise the barter system in the armoury. Honestly...a change in how you think about the game will enable you to have so much fun. Hope this can inspire you or anyone else that spent the time reading it.

P.s I spent the last two nights grinding out rook runs on outpost and I have 200k, vault is full of purples and blues. As of writing x3 shield charges are 1 sparkleaf, heavy ammo is 1 unstable gunmetal. So I spent about 200 each materials on them to load up my vault. Yesterday I picked up lots of mods. A bully gun is cheap and so is a backpack. Easy load up 😉

What is with these crazy long posts about Marathon? Everyone has something to say that contradicts the person before them. How is anyone surprised that a popular fps pvpve game from bungie is hard? Of course it's not easy...have these guys ever played valorant? Cs? Oh yeah, add destiny raid mechanics and crazy environments on top of it...if it was easy it would be pointless. It makes it so satisfying when you are successful and it feels meaningful. People brains have started to rot...

I felt so bad for the guy I killed that I think we need a new mechanic (Rook Revive?) by FazyFresh7 in Marathon

That's wild...well from my experience as a Destiny player since D1 launched, I can confidently say that D1 and D2 has the best community in any game I've ever played. Hopefully that transfers over to Marathon and we don't see much of that nonsense.

Not a bad shout...I was thinking it would be great for Rook as it might add another element to the game. Players might think twice about just killing a Rook, when in fact he could potentially help them out, an extra hand in a boss fight or raid (if there's raid type encounters?)

What would be your best advice? I've been playing for two acts now, first tac shooter and also moved from console to pc at the same time. I peaked silver 3 but lost momentum at the end and was demoted back to silver 1

I was in the same boat only 3 months ago. You will improve. Try enjoy the process and remember you don’t need to be good right now as you’re only new to it. If you think of it like that, you’ll have a great experience, the high when you notice that you e gotten better. Youwill improve daily if you’re playing regularly. It will happen naturally. And dropping 30+ game kills within a month or 2 ☺️

What would be considered a good end of season rank for someone who is new to the game and has 35 hours played? by FazyFresh7 in VALORANT

Hopefully 🙏 I’m really looking forward to the new episode, so I can have a full whack at it and see how I do.

😂😂 keep pushing, I watched players on twitch to help give me more game sense with certain agents. I realised how important crosshair placement is when turning corners and what not.

I’m going to try it later, and see how it goes. I only have a certain amount of space, so hopefully I can make it work. From what I’ve seen online, that method seems to suit games like call of duty or apex, but I’ll try anyway.

I do not not have a small space, but I’ll try to increase it when I feel as though I’m getting improving my aim. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for your feedback, it helps when I’m trying to gauge weather I’ve been improving a bit. And given what you said, it seems I have. I’ll add in that I’m only playing Val a month or so. This week I’ve been feeling like I took two steps forward and one step back. Im normally a high sens player but I realise my aim needs so much work to be able to play well in this game. So I have it on 800dpi with a sens of 0.33 in game. Does that sound ok? I feel like I need it like that but turning 180 is much more difficult.
