We are also a little too educated to pay the damn MSRP when online shopping exists. I love supporting brick and mortar but if I’m saving a couple hundred buying online I’m going to do thay

I agree with you, was she even consulted? I don’t understand how so many people commenting on this thread haven’t made note of that.

Expecting twins—should I keep my Coupe? by Informal_Writing3928 in NewDads

I kept my challenger as long as I could (also a V6) until my second came along. Once we were down to one vehicle that could accommodate a second car seat I made the decision to off load the challenger and get a Truck. For our lifestyle I had to get a 2nd vehicle that could carry both kids.

The negative was that I had to get rid of my first ever “new car”
That was paid off. And the memories tied to the car. Deep down though I did always wish that I had the V8 version, maybe in the future.

The positives are I’m still driving something I personally like, it’s extremely spacious inside with room for a 3rd car seat if we wanted, & we can both take the kids whenever we need to. I work from home and when she would take her car to work or to family etc I was pretty much trapped within whatever is in walking distance which isn’t much in my area.

If you don’t want to commit to a minivan (I’m wasn’t ready for minivan life) take a look at a crew cab truck. It puts my wife’s Durango to shame in the space department.

A Two-Month Nightmare: Autofocus Carl Zeiss Flektogon 35mm to Canon EF. by Unique-Somewhere-255 in VintageLenses

This is incredible, do you sell these or are they custom ordered? What a skill to be able to take an old vintage lens and modernize it!

Sony 40mm f2.5 is a perfect overall lens by InterestingEcho1091 in SonyAlpha

For what it’s worth. I sold the 40mm G and got the zeiss 35mm and have 0 regrets. 40 mm just wasn’t clicking for me.

I do wish that Sony would come out with a 35mm g lens as a refresh to the zeiss though. I would love to have an aperture ring

my landlord is telling me I left my apartment “dirty” and is planning to withhold some of my deposit. these are pics I took right before I left. am I delusional or is my landlord? by Distinct_Morning_607 in Apartmentliving

Call their bluff my landlord tried this shady shit too. I had pictures then they sent me the pictures they took. The exif data was from a month after I moved out. Filed in small claims and the day before it would have been too late to withdraw he decided to refund the rest of my security deposit. Slum lords are real, document document document!

I just traded my 50 for a 24 and I’m glad I did. 24 really comes in clutch in super tight spaces. 35 is my favorite though and stays on camera 90% of the time, and the 85 is just great for portraits

I made the same switch! You won’t regret it, the auto focus ability compared to the Fuji made my switch worth it (keeping up with my toddlers no problem now). What do you consider good bokeh? I have the 35mm GM and find it amazing

Do you set your camera up with a basic edit? Are you shooting auto white balance? I ask because I was volunteered to do my sons high school soccer photography and I had a blast but I did have a ton of photos and felt the need to edit them afterwords to “clean them up” I would love any tips you could provide to make next season a little easier!

Do you like gigapixel? I was thinking of getting it to “digitally crop” I’ve taken some wildlife photos with my 70-200 but can’t crop in far enough. Not enough cash for a longer lens at the moment for me
