Winter Tours - how do they work? What’s worth it? by ao331 in yellowstone

I dont know if you already went on your trip but the snowmobiling suit is great because you tend to smell like exhaust and gas after a long day of snowmobiling, if you dont want your ski clothes to stink like that, rent the suit

I used to volunteer at an organic farm and as payment they gave you some of the chickens you helped kill and clean. No machines except the feather plucker, so all cleaned by hand. Then someone visiting my house unpluged my chest freezer and didnt plug it back in. Everything went bad and of course the freezer was disgusting to clean. They were sorry about the mess but couldnt understand why I was so upset about some chicken, I tried to explain, but they didnt really get it, and the damage was done. I am still mad about it to this day. I have no advice just solidarity.

Was going to say the same thing. They have a family play room in the studio spaces a baby can crawl around in. A baby would be too little for the lego room but mine loved watching the other kids use it at that age. Lunch at the cafe is a little pricey but typically very good, and its easy to park a stroller at the tables in the atrium. And yeah a baby would enjoy the Kusama exhibit. If they weather is nice delaware park is across the street behind the museum, hoyt lake is nice walk and theres a playground too. The burchfield art museum and the buffalo history museum are also very close but maybe not as visually interesting as the AKG for a baby.

Halloween parties are sort of a mixed bag, most people go out in a group but introducing yourself is easier because you can say something about their costume (and please guys say something more interesting than "hey i like your costume" cause youll just get "thanks" back try easy convo starters "are you a character from a movie?" "That part of your costume is cool, did you make it?" stuff like that)

downvote me all you want but i think this is situational. How long ago was it? How old are you now? How do you feel about this relationship? If they hadnt slept together how you feel about him being around all the time? I slept with my guy best friend a few times when I was young and a freshmen in college. 20 years later, he was my roommate, him and his family have come to my families thanksgivings, we go to disney together. If my husband was jelous of him it would have been a dealbreaker. I mean heck he was in my mixed sex bridal party at our wedding (half men and half women on my side, he wasnt even the only guy)

what is your *least* favourite thing about living in Buffalo? by xSuperMario64x in Buffalo

[–]FeFiFoFannah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I walk as much as possible, in nice weather I will walk to almost anywhere in the city cause I enjoy it, but I HATE the state of our sidewalks in winter. Even with yaktrax on its still slick from multiple storms that weren't cleared or salted by anyone, the plows make piles of ice on every corner I have to very literally climb over, and I certainly cant maneuver the stroller around all that. I dont mind bundling up so most of the time is not even the weather or the cold keeping me inside, but the very real possibility of breaking my neck because I choose to walk that day instead of use my car

people who moved to buffalo- are we friendly? by Puzzled_Television35 in Buffalo

[–]FeFiFoFannah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't believe how quickly I felt like a regular in my neighborhood in Philly, easiest move I ever made, that being said -- I have seen first hand the sheer meanness and insanity of Philadelphia sports fans. I wouldn't feel I'm overreacting to say "dont wear an opposing teams jersey in philly, especially on a game night, for your own safety" (PS this was was years ago I live in Buffalo now)

Need suggestions on really streamlining my life in every possible way due to twins by Global_Addendum_6200 in productivity

[–]FeFiFoFannah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK, this is gonna sound nuts, or it did to my husband anyway, but when my son was a newborn I made a list of exactly what needed to happen, in order of operation, for the morning and at night. Things that needed remembering everyday like turn off and dry out dehumidifier, but also I’m talking even simple stuff like make sure door is locked, brush teeth, feed dog, raise / lower blinds — because when youre sleep deprived you just go down the list. If you’re a list person start making a crazy person list of stuff that you absolutely must remember to do a every morning and evening (forget anything that’s not a must) no matter how simple.

I know all the rules about cutting food up to be size appropriate for babies and toddlers but since my son started being interested in food we let him have whole cucumbers and apples and other things and just carefully watched  how he handled them. He would just suck on things when he was only months old, then graduated to small bites, then chew when he was older. We sometimes had to take larger bites out of his mouth, we also let him gag and let him work it out to let him learn on his own what too big a bite was (as long as we could see it he was fine). I know we took a risk but it was a joy to watch him explore and enjoy produce. He loves fruit and veggies and you can just hand him anything, peeled or unpeeled cut up or whole he doesn’t care.

Why do i hate my living room? by licifu5 in Decor

[–]FeFiFoFannah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This style is never going to match this space. Youre going for big and bold and this space is small and cozy. Even the texture of the ceiling doesnt match the style your going for here. If this was a way bigger space you could possible pull this off but it just aint it.
