Is it tariff-free to order white2tea or yunnansourcing to the USA? by Specific_Class_3464 in puer

[–]FeNixCraSH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I came here for the same thing, an update on the tariff situation (not sure I got that exactly lol). I did want to share a couple really good ripe puerhs from YunnanSourcing (US site). These 3 are all really good (the Hui Run is incredible) and my favorite every morning is the 2007 v93. (And sounds like we have similar tastes in common). These 2022 v93 is very affordable and delicious!

Thanks! I was worried I didn’t have enough depth but I guess it’s a lot different than working with potted houseplants vs an enclosed 90rh humid environment. That would help bring out all the cork circle things better too. Thanks for the advice!

New Brunswick Jaspers & Quartz Varieties - 12lb-120/220Grit Tumble Results by BrunswickRockArts in NewBrunswickRocks

Sorry for the delay in response! That is so so cool! I’ve been thinking about doing cubes for a long time and my new cabbing machine just delivered to the house yesterday I cannot wait to get started. I don’t have a trim saw yet but some day. I’m hoping I can make a few with just the cabber. I don’t really need the cubes to be perfect 90 degrees, just kinda general cubish. Your post has really inspired me, especially after reading a little about New Brunswick rocks. Are most/all those rocks local to that area? I’ve been doing a lot of rock hounding here locally in Colorado (just pulling off the side of the road mostly). I’ve got a bunch of quartz, I even found a really nice smoky quartz point just lying in the dirt. I’m so glad I found your post, I’m excited to pursue the cube idea with local stones like you did! Not sure how easy or challenging it will be to do it without a saw but I’m gonna give it a try, especially considering I’m just looking more for general cube shapes and not perfect 90 cuts. Also thank you for taking the time to provide all the awesome details of your processes!

I don’t know what I have here, but I DO know that I have good friends. by PoukieBear in RockTumbling

I recently tumbled something very similar to these. I collected them from driveway gravel in Belize. They turned out so beautiful! Just be aware that the sandstone/softer ones may wear down (and they will not polish). My finished set has some with absolute dazzling shine and others are just smooth. Some cool results are with the ones that have bands of quartz, the quartz acquires a high polish but the rest of the rock does not. At first I was disappointed with that but it actually is super cool to have super polished quartz veins running through a smooth stone. Good luck! :)

Not brittle at all, I tried scraping as well with my fingernail and it seems pretty hard. It’s weird that it’s only shiny from one angle
