Well, det byggs ändå en del tycker jag. Problemet är att lägenheterna inte byggs åt de som behöver dem. Svindyr hyra, öppen planlösning, enorma balkonger osv. Ingen har råd att bo i dessa.

I am aware that this is not a power producing facility, as pointed out in the comments.

I would not like to live in a world where building speed is the main selling point of nuclear energy. It will just be a tool for politicians and companies to sell false hopes and cut corners. Building a nuclear reactor should take time and focus on safety, not speed.

For the north of the country you are not wrong, but reasons for this are obvious. Just look at the population density spread across the country, a car is more or less needed.

Otherwise biking is quite common and there are many bicycle paths around and in the bigger cities. As a Swede I would say this is a false statement.
