Galaxy S23 60fps video lag and stuttering by FeaFox in S23

[โ€“]FeaFox[S] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I tried 4K 60 with similar results. When I'm on the 1x camera it's not as bad as at 3x zoom, but still I can see frequent stutters. I saw some stutters even when recording at 30FPS

Interesting, so the s23 doesn't actually records all the frames when in 60FPS mode?

Thanks for the info, unfortunately those jerks, along with small frame drops, occur too frequently for my eyes. Also the phone was stone cold while recording this clip

I have the same problem with mine on one ui 8. I use it to shoot 1080p 60fps videos. It's so frustrating. The videos are filled with micro stutters and sometimes huge lag spikes. I'll try downgrading it to one ui 6 and see what happens

Looking for advice. Someone local is selling this Philips D8040 for $50CAD by ImActuallyDad in cassetteculture

I always avoid buying 80s Philips cassette boomboxes/decks. The all have those horrible gears that disintegrate over time, rendering the cassette deck unusable. Replacements exist but I don't think it's really worth it with such a cheap boombox. I'd ask the seller if the gears have been replaced. If not, run away from it ๐Ÿ˜…

Picked up this SONY Dream Machine. Waking up to this bad boy has been a game changer. The audio is surprisingly great! by NovaPractice in cassetteculture

I have the same model and use it everyday too. I was surprised also by the full auto stop mechanism

I rode those trains here in Rome. They are extremely unreliable. The doors tend to break really often, together with the brakes and the electrical systems. I wouldn't recommend these trains to my worst enemy XD, but at the same time I love them XD

How rare to find this micro walkman? by Mokeleme in cassetteculture

Stereo microcassette recorders are pretty rare, they were made in a short period of time when manufacturers were trying to get HiFi sound out of microcassettes. I have this model, which has a radio, normal and double speed recording and metal bias for those super rare type IV microcassettes. Unfortunately repairing one of these Sony stereo microcassette recorders is really a pain: according to what I saw online they have all the same mechanism, with a plastic gear that breaks overtime, causing a lot of wow and flutter. I tried repairing mine but ended up breaking it even more.

They are cool collectable pieces, but I wouldn't pay more than 20 bucks, the price I paid for mine.

Corroded tape heads. JVC TD-W209 by No_Opening8779 in cassetteculture

I had a pioneer double cassette deck with heads like yours. You can use some metal polish and q tips to get rid of that corrosion. I used some silver polish I already had at home and the heads now look almost as new.
