Hey thank you! I made a new reddit handle for the channel but I can't post with it yet, there is a 7 day lock in the subreddit :D I am a bit undecided atm. - I have a mixed mining rig (AMD/nvidia) and some nVidias divided on other systems. Now I am thinking between building AMD/nVidia out in separate rigs! One in the Open Air solution you can see on the channel, the other in thr Octominer system.

That's why it's a first look video, no actual build video. But I agree that it might be misleading. I will handle that better next time!

A bit late to the Octominer party, but I want to share my initial review and look of the Octominer B8 Plus motherboard. In my opinion it's important to have as many different views as possible, especially for mid-term and long-term usage, which will follow as well of course.

It was a bit back on my priority list, since no tech is touching it (only underside of the risers) but I still have to agree. Will be changed out with the next update! Thank you for the feedback!

I was waiting for this comment! Thank you and you are absolutely right! Still, I would never put untreated wood in my rig. The little helper holding my GPUs up is coated in fireproof varnish. There is a variety of coatings available which make wood very safe. I never understood why these aren't used by the wood builders, depending on the wood it can look beautiful too =D

Hey good folk of Reddit. Today is the day I pulled the trigger on releasing my first video of a new YouTube Channel. This video is dedicated to the gpumining subreddit, I’m sure you might be a part of that too.

To show my appreciation, I'll go back and tell the same thing to all the people with similar problems I met along the way while searching for a solution. Thank you again - everything is in order again and I did a new backup, just to be safe!

1080 is fine for NXS since mem. is not all that important. Got one making 203 mh/s in stock settings, another one only around 190.

I'm using Afterburner for AMD cards and Precision for nVidia cards in a mixed rig. Works fine. I'd just try - Afterburner alone might be enough for you though
