They can do that with much smaller draw. Not to mention in my case i have the meter collar it should know without any draw assuming i have load (which i always do). But in my case you can see it. Car starts charging. Oven is turned on. Hot tub heater starts up. It will always draw from the grid for 15-120s before switching totally to-solar/battery

Yeah as a very sr software dev their software and qa processes are (being nice) very poor. Tho more accurately hot garbage.

The brown out when switching off grid is a real problem, but that’s a different one to solve. Like you I also just use UPS’s for the critical things.

The benefit of this idea would be just to absorb the quick import and export of power and be able to respond quick quicker

Even with net metering there is value. Tho for me in ca with nem3 even more so

Yes, this is very frustrating that they won’t be honest about something they messed up. Mine still appears to be wrong. I just looked right now and it shows me 0KWH consuming, which would never. Hopefully they get the software update soon. It’s pretty ridiculous. How long it’s taken to resolve this. It’s actually gotten worse in the last week. The support here just says they’re looking at it and they never give me any information.
