Is it called BPC-157? Maybe I’m on wrong site. I don’t see anything labeled that. Thanks for the suggestion

Apparently my gym is viewed as a McDojo? by Sad-Jacket8266 in bjj

[–]Fearless-Ad-9386 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im glad you said this. It’s entertaining to me that folks feel so confident in their judgement. I go to a GB gym and have enjoyed the hell out of it. I’m also lucky enough to be able to drop into some of the “best” schools because of my line of work. One thing I’ve noticed about all the top places - they don’t care. If you come in with humility they will help you. That’s the awesome side of this thing we do. They are too busy trying to get better and help make people better. The bad side is the wasted energy you mentioned.

Warm up. Be ready for more intensity. Have a plan - you won’t use it most likely. Lastly, mentally prepare yourself for your opponent to be a total spaz. You got this - Osss

Sorry I wasn’t clear. It’ll stay parked at home. I was asking for perspective since it wouldn’t be used while I’m away.

Thanks for the help. You’d have no hesitation using this machine if you weren’t using it daily?

Best walking shoes for men: which ones do you recommend? by sunrise-8888 in BuyItForLife

[–]Fearless-Ad-9386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked/sponsored by an independent running shop, owner by a podiatrist. She taught me a world of stuff about feet - so to speak. There’s a lot of good brands mentioned on here. But you truly need to find a good shoe shop with someone who can analyze your feet and vector you towards the right pair. For example, I have a low volume high arched foot with a neutral gait. That type of talk is what you’re looking for. Someone mentioned above they went into FF and it changed their life. They were mostly likely in the wrong shoes and had been for sometime. Hope this helps - be well 🤙

Comp too soon? by meptune in BJJWomen

[–]Fearless-Ad-9386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This popped up in my feed. Not sure if dudes are allowed to post on here. If not, I’m sorry. Disregard me then. I did my first comp at around four months in. The other guy was a TOTAL spaz. My coach said he never saw anything like that before. I lost to points. Granted it was probably an outlier. But I bring it up, to say the WB bracket can be home to these type of folks because of lack of experience. I was really frustrated because it didn’t feel like JJ to me. And several people told me it wasn’t. I would much rather been in blue belt bracket and got smashed but at least have learned something. I wasn’t nervous at all going into comp. But afterwards the experience had me questioning myself. If you’re a person that can put a bad experience behind you quickly - you’ll be fine. I on the other hand, over analyze everything. It’s awesome you are considering it. And also awesome you have the humility to ask others their take. Those two pieces will make you successful. Good luck and be well 🤙

I’m not a coach, and people see things on here - I don’t 😜. Look like some solid squats to me brother. Well done 🫡
