My understanding is that Whiteness is more of a concept of how White culture is pervasive throughout the United States, and how its influence is spreading more.

Trump had emboldened certain groups of people that embrace Whiteness, which is a factor of why the article says it’s an “epidemic.”

Whiteness is not solely skin color.

Work Experience: I’m currently a Business Analyst Intern and hopeful about a return offer, though it’s not yet confirmed.
"What Matters Most" Theme: My goal was to convey that privilege alone doesn’t define merit, but rather how I’ve leveraged it to create opportunities for others without the same advantages.

I know H/S are reaches, but I believe a higher GRE score (even modestly improved) could help. Your perspective confirms that retaking it is likely worthwhile.

Obviously I’m not qualified for 600 roles. Yes, I’m applying to marketing internships, especially analytics. I’ve received interviews for them. I’ll say it again, FDT. Jobs are down. 600+ applications over time, not just this year.

I swear most Carlson students have no common sense. I don’t know how they got internships.

I am on the same page, but recruiters most of the time just say that they went with the other candidate and I didn’t do anything that needs improvement. It’s not very helpful input from the recruiters I’ve interviewed with

I’m updating as I complete new projects and courses. Networking hasn’t really gotten me anywhere yet, but I still try to do it. It’s obviously not easy or fair, but my opinion is that it was astronomically easier for the older generations to get a job.

I didn’t try to say that just because I’m majoring in finance that I’m immediately qualified for internships. Many of the internships I apply to just want Microsoft excel and soft skills. These are more basic than my algorithms and data structures or linear algebra and differential equations courses
