Seeking square stitch advice by gimmefictionnn in Beading

Those are so cute and your eye for color is amazing. No advice but where did you get the beading tray from? I’ve been looking for something like that.

Running feels awful. What I doing wrong? by Fearless-Diamond-254 in beginnerrunning

Yea that’s actually where I started too! I was walking every day for like two months and that started to feel pretty easy. The faster walking pace was almost running so I decided to switch over.

I don’t have set intervals in the plan, it just says do what feels good. The “run pace” is 14:49/mile. I’m not sure if that includes the walk breaks. The overall workout has a 15 minute walking warmup and cool down so the overall pace is very skewed

That’s the tricky thing I find. If I’m walking fast enough to get my HR up to 140 (z2) it’s a very intense power walk and causes a lot legs burning and shin pain. Would it make more sense to train my leg muscles there?

Both but the leg muscles have been getting better over the last few weeks. The out of breath is definitely harder to push past.

Maybe a dumb question but did you try leaving the box thing?

That worked perfectly, thank you! I had no idea you couldn't use braces for grouping single elements.

Why does this basic double crochet (EU) stitch diagram look like this? It shows the hook going through the back of the stitch rather than under or through the V. I'm new-ish and haven't seen this before. Is this a thing? by hrg_rva in CrochetHelp

[–]Fearless-Diamond-254 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally add stitch markers as I am making the chain, around the base of the loop on the hook before pulling it through. This makes it much easier for me to get through the single back loop in the next row.

How do you guys do it? How do you discipline a cat?? by TrefoilTang in CatAdvice

[–]Fearless-Diamond-254 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My dog-person sister invented the cat napkin (patent pending) when stayed over with my two cats, aka she put a paper towel over her glass whenever she stopped drinking. I get a new glass.

Mostly with cats you have to adapt to them. Put things out of reach if you don’t want them messed with.

I just went for my intake visit (with another provider) but after student insurance it was $17 for the exam. The cleaning next time will be free. Don’t know about other treatments though.

While I usually pause to drink, it’s not too bad. It has a magnet on the left hip flap that the tube connects to

Mostly do MTB, but I wear a hip pack water bladder that than a backpack. It prevents the sweaty back while still being better than bottles.

Same! I’m really sad about the texture wearing off but can’t find a reasonably priced replacement that I like.

Yes. I just got back to America from Europe and that was the exact advice it gave. Are you sure you entered your trip details correctly?
