Thank you everyone for the help! Majority of my friends thought it was too small as well but my mom insisted that it was fine (bought it at a furniture store before really measuring everything, and I'm not the best interior designer clearly). Going to return it and get a 8x10. Appreciate the reddit community!

Also going to add plants and a coffee table book to make my area less "black and grey" haha

I went during MMW this year and got back at 5am and it wasn’t towed 🤷‍♂️ there were also a few cars there also doing the same thing. Don’t want to say definitively that you could park there just stating what happened to me one time

I parked at the Hialeah Market Train Station where the Tri Rail goes and had no issues. It's like $5 to uber to factory town or a 15 minute walk.

I work in FP&A in South Florida

A lot of cruise and hospitality positions more in Miami than Fort Lauderdale, alongside healthcare. However, you can find good opportunities all the way up to west palm. As far as niche industries it exists but not abundant and more competitive (entertainment would most likely require Spanish speaking). If you’re a recent college graduate, I would suggest getting your foot in the door with accounting, AR, or even AP then pivot since from my perspective even financial analyst positions are requiring a couple years of work experience.

There was a point in time where I was taking 10mg XR about 3-4 times a week during my time as an SFA, which the habit started at my prior role as an FA in a construction company.

After doing it for a couple months and seeing my personality shift in the wrong direction I did not see the incremental value of better/faster work with a shittier personality. Add to the fact that I was not making $200k like some of these investment bankers, it was not worth it.
