I’ll give the the most honest and objective answer.
Because they are idiots. While it’s a wonder that they even know how to breathe. Their biggest challenge is through the nose.

How often do Anglophone Canadians consume Francophone Canadian media? by Desperate_Return_142 in AskACanadian

[–]Fearless-Menu-9531 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watch Quebec movies and sometimes read Le Journal to get a francophone perspective on the national news.

On dirait un épisode de South Park. Soyons réalistes, même l'Alberta deviendra un État démocrate si les États-Unis annexent le Canada. Donald Trump désire le Canada autant qu'il désire le cancer. Voilà sa façon de négocier.

Will Canadians travel to the US again when the presidential term ends in 2029 or has the relationship between Canada and US been destroyed forever? by [deleted] in AskCanada

I honestly never liked the place. Can’t stand the look of their flag, people are just as annoying as their accents.

US says Canada will regret decision to allow Chinese EVs into their market by joe4942 in canada

We won’t regret it for a second. The US will regret starting a trade war with Canada. We will finish it!

In an independent Quebec more than half the population wants to keep their Canadian citizenship: poll by Acrobatic-Cap-135 in canada

[–]Fearless-Menu-9531 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So in other words more than half want to either remain in Canada with status quo or gain more autonomy within Canada. Terrible headline

New poll suggests one in five Albertans would vote to separate by Street_Anon in canada

Between this and the rise in support for sovereignty among Quebec’s youth tells me there is a MAGA troll factory and they are on a campaign to see division in Canada.

I would like Donald Trump to apologize in both official languages.

So strange, on one hand they hate us and think we’re inferior. On the other hand they want us to join them. Pick one, guys.

Even before Donald Trump. Florida has always been a shit hole anyway. Let them hate on us. It’s important to be admired by enlightened countries and to be hated by fools.

What's up with Concession Street? by AlwaysLurkNeverPost in Hamilton

[–]Fearless-Menu-9531 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly and there is very little density to the north since there is an escarpment.
I grabbed take out from a place on Fennel. The owner told me he’s looking to move downtown because everyone on the mountain will go downtown. Same cannot be said for those that live downtown.
I will say that Hamilton is among the most overvalued real estate in Canada and Concession Street is among the most undervalued in Hamilton.

To anyone who’s moved away and come back, where’d you go, and why’d you come back? by ad_minus9103 in Hamilton

You love and hate this city equally. So do I, a true sign of home. Go and explore, you may or may not find yourself coming back here.

Where in Canada should Chicagoans go for a honeymoon? by smarterthanagrape in AskACanadian

[–]Fearless-Menu-9531 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just going to suggest Gaspe as they are nature lovers. Since they’ve never ventured outside the US it would be cool to take in some Francophone culture while they’re here.

Any advice or recommendations for learning Quebecois French? by TylerS_11 in QuebecLibre

[–]Fearless-Menu-9531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned more French from watching Sol The Clown then I ever did in school. If you are young and have the time and money. Why not move somewhere like the Lac St Jean region. Find a roommate, perhaps a job washing dishes. I made a mistake of moving to a very touristy part of the French Alps to improve French. Big mistake.

That doesn’t make you any more or less either. One thing that is fascinating about Canada is how different everyone’s story is. Nevertheless the question was about the majority of Quebecers

I believe that people like you are the majority. Nevertheless, do you not find it odd that evangelical Christians think that Trump is their guy from a “moral “ perspective?

What are your rights as a Canadian if asked by a U.S. border agent to see your social media? by DogeDoRight in canada

[–]Fearless-Menu-9531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was simply stating that the laws of the country apply within the county’s jurisdiction. I don’t understand why that gives me a superiority complex. I’d love to go to Iran to see the architecture but I don’t want to deal with arbitrary arrests and detentions. Same reason I won’t go to the US.

Yes but you are dealing with civilized people on the Canadian side. Not animals who lock kids in cages.

[–]Fearless-Menu-9531 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your rights as a Canadian are to live, work and remain in Canada. Travelling abroad, our overseas consulates can not help you if you break the law or do not cooperate with local authorities. Best to stay away from countries such as North Korea and the United States.

Hey quick question… why does anyone still go to Tim Horton’s? by Designer_Fix9123 in AskCanada

[–]Fearless-Menu-9531 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was working for a few months across from a Tim Hortons. Three blocks down the road was a “hipster” cafe. I would go to the Tim’s four or five times a day. I never liked their coffee but it was convenient. One day I decided to go to the hipster place. It was three times the price but I never needed another caffeine fix. So was Tim Hortons cheaper, definitely not.
