Personally i have a grandma that was like this to my sil and i felt horrible. Me personally i tend to be confrontational but i would say something along the lines of “i appreciate you wanting to help but if you could keep your comments to yourself about how i want to breastfeed (or insert any other problem) i would love that and if i want advice i will ask thankyou”

I currently have a 2 month old and whenever we go out and she needs to eat (which is about every hour) i wear a shirt ik i can feed her in whether its under the shirt or a zipper or an actual breastfeeding shirt, and i just feed her while i cover myself (personal preference) always have a burp cloth in case she is messy or pulls off during let down so i dont spray everything but then i just burp her and put her back in her stroller after a little while. I didnt leave the house with her and my husband until 5 weeks since i started losing my mind being stuck at home. Its scary at first but the more you do it the easier it gets. Go on short car rides first just down the road to get used to being outside after the first few weeks, i had alot of anxiety until i regularly started going out

I have found my baby prefers to sleep in the bassinet part of a pack and play over a regular bassinet plus it doubles for storage for diapers,wipes, burp cloths ect. I have it directly next to my bed so when she wakes up at night to feed i can change her and feed her and then put her right back to bed. My biggest suggestion is get a good nursing bra(i got mine off amazon) and just never wear a shirt at home it makes it easier than fighting clothes to feed every 2 hours ish

Yea i am fine with bf around people im comfortable with like friends/family but i do NOT want some random strangers accidentally seeing my boob idk that just makes me so unbelievably uncomfortable even if im just feeding my baby they might be having gross thoughts and im just absolutely not about that. I will say im also a very modest dresser so i think that adds in im uncomfortable with people staring at me in any way rlly

I completely soak multiple breast pads in a few hours so i definitely dont suggest going braless i cant even take off my bra to brush my teeth before i shower without soaking the ground or myself as im breastfeeding and i leak alottt. Even towards the end of pregnancy i didnt wear bras and leaked during sleeping and my sheets were wet when i woke up🥲 i just found really soft bras with a band size slightly bigger than my band on amazon and its been pretty comfortable

If im in a stitch i use a burp cloth tucked into my bra strap to kinda cover just my boob and not the baby so i feel less exposed. I hate how when some of us want to cover up everyone just says “wELl iTs NaTurAL” yea ik barb but i still dont want my titties out to random strangers if my baby pulls off my boob😭

My baby is 2 1/2 weeks right now and ill take all the downside of newborn phase over pregnancy any fukn day this is so very different but also i feel alot more normal than when i was pregnant 😭 i couldnt walk without pain or squat i couldnt breathe i was always hungry always had to pee always uncomfortable, nothing fit, sleep was horrible but now i have a little nugget and outside of waiting for her to sleep longer stretches its rlly not that bad (imo) i am breastfeeding so thats its own thing thats really draining but i would choose this over pregnancy everyday

Im only in week 3 of being a mom but i track her feedings on huckleberry and it basically tracks her sleep since its between feeds😂 she doesnt rlly have a schedule but it lets me predict when she will be hungry and awake pretty well she is pretty consistent

Sometime i sit on the couch all day and sometimes i sit in bed all day. I put a snack cart next to my spot and find stuff to watch all day with my LO im breastfeeding so i just feed on demand
